✨ Dreamlight Valley: Map Features

Dreamlight Valley Map Features

✨ The Dreamlight Valley map has always been one of those handy tools in the game, and over the last few updates it's become packed with little features that make navigating and managing the Valley so much easier.

Whether you’re looking for a specific Villager, checking on your crops, tracking resources, or simply trying to figure out where you left that one crafting station... 😂 there’s a lot more hiding within the map than you might realise!

🔄 Toggle Filters
The toggle menu lets you quickly turn different map icons on or off, including Villagers, Crops & Vegetation, Buildings & Stalls, and Mining Nodes. Handy if you also want a less cluttered look.

⛏️ Respawn Trackers
Mining and vegetation icons turn grey once you've mined a node or harvested a fruit or vegetable, and will turn back to green on the map when they're available again, making it much easier to see when resources have respawned.

👥 Villager List
You can view the full list of Villagers inside buildings (such as Scrooge's Store) directly from the map in one clean layout, making it much easier to find who you're looking for. No more overlapping character icons... and no more delays.

🍳 Utility & Crop Overviews
The map also helps you keep track of useful utility spots and crop locations, including crafting and cooking stations - and even the Timebending Table and Ancient Vacuum will now appear. Crop icons also show exactly how many are available to harvest and what type of crop they are.

🗺️ Fast Travel & Villager Tracking
From the map, you can also quickly access the Fast Travel menu, pulling up every biome available to you in the game for you to fast travel to. There's even a 'Favorites' category where you can add your favourite biomes. You can also open your Villager list, allowing you to summon a character from the list who isn't currently on your map, and you can even select a Level 10 Villager on your map to either track them or fast travel directly to them.

There are so many little conveniences built into the map, and I love how much information is available at a glance, making some of those everyday Valley tasks much easier without needing to run all over the Valley looking for something. I love how much it’s become a part of my everyday Valley routine. Until next time, happy exploring! 🗺️
