✨ Hidden Quest from Honeyglow Woods

✨ There’s a hidden friendship quest waiting to be discovered in Honeyglow Woods, and it brings together four of the Valley’s Winnie the Pooh characters!

This quest requires you to own the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack and the Wishblossom Ranch Expansion, in addition to the base game. The name of this quest is “The New Expedition”, and it becomes available after completing the following Level 10 friendship quests:

🍯 Honeyglow Woods
Winnie the Pooh: The Honey Disaster
Eeyore: Eeyore's Lost and Found
Piglet: Piglet the Caretaker

🌸 Wishblossom Ranch
Tigger: A Tiggerific Day

While Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore are part of Honeyglow Woods, Tigger joins them from the Wishblossom Ranch expansion as you progress through the quest.

During the quest, you’ll work alongside Pooh and his friends on their latest expedition, with the Toadstool Bouncy Castle being crafted as part of the quest and unlocked as your reward.

It's a cute little hidden quest that’s easy to miss if you haven’t completed all four friendship questlines!

✨ Villager Overview: Winnie the Pooh

✨ This Villager Overview brings the Winnie the Pooh collection to a very fitting conclusion, focusing on Winnie the Pooh himself. Gentle, thoughtful, and never too far away from his next pot of honey, Pooh brings a wonderfully warm and familiar presence to the Valley.

After working through Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet, it feels nice to finish the Honeyglow Woods collection with Pooh. His friendship quests and rewards lean into everything that makes him so recognisable, while adding another lovely layer to the woodland areas of the Honeyglow Woods.

🔓 How To Unlock Winnie the Pooh
(Click on any image to enlarge)

Winnie the Pooh is part of the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack and is unlocked through the Honeyglow Woods storyline. As you progress through the story, you’ll encounter him in Drowsybloom Acre, and is unlocked after completing the "Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear" story quest. Completing this story quest officially adds Pooh to the Honeyglow Woods character collection..

Winnie the Pooh’s House has a lovely woodland feel that fits naturally into the Honeyglow Woods. It has that cozy, storybook quality I’d expect from Pooh, and I think it works well surrounded by trees, flowers, and other natural decorations. I find it works well in all of the biomes in Honeyglow Woods, and really stands when placed in the Gloommeadow biome - though personally I'm thinking of setting him up somewhere in Nectar Apiary.

📜 Winnie the Pooh’s Friendship Quests

Pooh’s friendship quests have a much gentler pace. They focus on friendship, helping others, and, naturally, a little bit of honey along the way. Here are the friendship quests you'll get from Winnie the Pooh’s, and from what I remember, his first friendship quest is available as soon as he becomes unlocked:

Level -: Grown-up Things
Level 4: The Backwards Day
Level 7: Pooh's Grown-Up Job
Level 10: The Honey Disaster

There’s something really comforting about Pooh’s questline. Nothing feels overly dramatic, and that suits him perfectly. It feels much more like spending time with a familiar friend and helping him with whatever little adventure happens to come along.

As with other villagers, you can increase Winnie the Pooh’s friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you complete tasks around the Valley.

🎁 Winnie the Pooh’s Friendship Rewards

Pooh’s friendship rewards continue the cozy, woodland-inspired aesthetic of the Honeyglow Woods collection. There’s a lovely mix of clothing and furniture pieces that feel right at home alongside the wider Winnie the Pooh theme.

Level 2: Cozy Woodland Armchair (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Woodland Patchwork Bed (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Honeyglow Cooking Station (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 10: Blue Daisy Knee Socks (Clothing item)

Including the level 10 reward listed above, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Winnie the Pooh’s friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level -: Pooh's Little Honey Picture (Furniture item)
⭐ Level 10: Silly Bear Hat, Silly Bear Pinafore, Yellow Daisy Ankle Boots (Clothing items), and Bubble Party Sign (Furniutre item)

You’ll find these quest-locked rewards highlighted in the images below.

✨ Winnie the Pooh feels like such a lovely character to finish this collection with. There’s something instantly comforting about having him wandering around the Valley, and I really like how his personality comes through in his animations and interactions.

After spending time with Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, and Pooh, they each bring something different to the Valley, but seeing the four of them together gives the group a really lovely sense of familiarity and connection. Even though Tigger comes from the Wishblossom Ranch DLC rather than the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack, it was still so much fun seeing all four of them together.

I also really enjoyed seeing how the Honeyglow Woods furniture and character rewards work together. The whole collection has such a distinct woodland storybook feeling, and having Pooh’s items alongside the rest of the characters makes it even easier to create those cozy little corners inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood.

And with that, the Winnie the Pooh collection is officially complete! I’ve really enjoyed working through each of these characters, and it’s been nice seeing the collection gradually come together one Villager Overview at a time.

That wraps up this Villager Overview - thanks so much for reading! Winnie the Pooh has now been added to the Villager Overview Hub, completing my current Honeyglow Woods collection. I’m looking forward to seeing which characters I’ll be covering next and continuing to expand the Hub with more Villager Overviews throughout the year.

✨ Villager Overview: Piglet

✨ The Winnie the Pooh Villager Overviews continue through the Honeyglow Woods, this time focusing on Piglet. Sweet, thoughtful, and often a little unsure of himself, Piglet brings a much gentler energy to the Valley - but there’s a quiet bravery underneath it all that makes him incredibly endearing.

After Tigger’s endless energy and Eeyore’s wonderfully gloomy outlook, Piglet feels like a lovely middle ground. He may not always feel brave, but watching him work through those little moments of uncertainty is what makes his character so special.

🔓 How To Unlock Piglet
(Click on any image to enlarge)

Piglet is part of the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack and is unlocked through the Honeyglow Woods storyline. After progressing through the story, you’ll eventually reach him in Braveheart Grove, and is unlocked after completing the "Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again)" story quest. Completing this story quest officially welcomes Piglet to the Honeyglow Woods and adds him to your character collection.

Piglet’s House is already placed and constructed in Braveheart Grove when he is unlocked, so there’s no additional home-building step needed before he joins the Valley. His home is a large tree, which feels like such a fitting choice for him and blends beautifully into the surrounding woodland.

I really like how naturally Piglet’s home fits into Braveheart Grove. It feels cozy without being overly decorated, and I can easily imagine building a little woodland area around it with paths, flowers, and some of the softer Honeyglow Woods furniture.

📜 Piglet’s Friendship Quests

Piglet’s friendship quests have a much more gentle feel than Tigger’s, with plenty of moments that highlight his thoughtful nature and the courage he has beneath his nervousness. There’s something particularly sweet about watching Piglet become a little more confident as his friendship progresses. Here are the four friendship quests available from Piglet, with the first one available as soon as he is unlocked:

Level -: The Most Unexpected Friend
Level 4: After the Rain
Level 7: Collecting Little Wins
Level 10: Piglet the Caretaker

I really enjoyed the focus on Piglet’s character throughout these quests. His story doesn’t need huge dramatic moments to be meaningful - some of the smaller interactions are what make his friendship feel so genuine.

You can increase Piglet’s friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you complete tasks around the Valley.

🎁 Piglet’s Friendship Rewards

Piglet’s friendship rewards fit beautifully alongside the wider Honeyglow Woods collection, with a cozy woodland style that feels especially suited to Braveheart Grove. There’s a lovely mix of practical furniture and softer decorative pieces, along with a clothing collection that leans into Piglet’s signature pink.

Level 2: Cozy Woodland Lamp (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Woodland Stone Fireplace (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Honeyglow Crafting Station (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 10: Club Meeting Podium (Furniture item)

Including the level 10 reward listed above, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Piglet's friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level -: Rustic Jacuzzi (Furniture item; crafting recipe)
⭐ Level 4: Bumble Breeze Umbrella (Clothing item)
⭐ Level 7: Safety Pillow (3); and Little Wins Leaderboard (Furniture items)
⭐ Level 10: Blush-Pink Brave Hat, Green Brave Scarf, Blush-Pink Brave Vest, Blush-Pink Brave Sneakers, Blush-Pink Brave Bomber Jacket, and Blush-Pink Brave Jeans (Clothing items)

You can find all these quest-locked rewards highlighted in the images below.

✨ Piglet has such a lovely presence in the Valley. There’s something wholesome about seeing him interact with the other Winnie the Pooh characters, too. Having Piglet, Eeyore, and Winnie the Pooh together makes the Honeyglow Woods collection feel much more complete, and I’m excited to build a quiet, cozy area in Braveheart Grove with Piglet's House nearby.

I love how well Piglet fits into Braveheart Grove. His home feels like it belongs there, and the softer furniture from his friendship rewards works beautifully with the natural woodland aesthetic.

More than anything, I think Piglet is a really nice reminder that bravery doesn't always have to look dramatic. Sometimes it's simply doing something that scares you anyway, and that feels like such a fitting part of his character.

With Piglet now covered, the Honeyglow Woods Winnie the Pooh collection is almost complete - and next week, it’s finally time for Pooh Bear!

That wraps up this Villager Overview - thanks so much for reading! Piglet has now been added to the Villager Overview Hub, and I’m looking forward to finishing this little Winnie the Pooh collection next week with Winnie the Pooh himself 🍯

✨ Villager Overview: Eeyore

✨ The Winnie the Pooh Villager Overviews continue, this time heading into the Honeyglow Woods with Eeyore. A little quieter and considerably less enthusiastic than Tigger, Eeyore brings his own kind of charm to the Valley - one that feels slower, softer, and surprisingly comforting.

He may not be the most cheerful villager around, but that’s exactly what makes Eeyore feel so true to himself. There’s something rather lovely about having a character who isn’t constantly trying to be upbeat, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing his more understated personality come through around the Valley.

🔓 How To Unlock Eeyore
(Click on any image to enlarge)

Eeyore is part of the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack and is unlocked through the Honeyglow Woods storyline. After progressing through the story, you’ll eventually reach the Gloommeadow biome and begin Eeyore’s “Chapter 6: A Place for Eeyore” story quest. Completing this quest officially unlocks Eeyore and adds him to your Honeyglow Woods character collection.

Eeyore’s House is already placed in Gloommeadow when you reach this part of the story, but it needs to be repaired before Eeyore can move in. You’ll need Driftwood, Tree Resin, Oak Leaves, and Soft Limestone to restore his home.

Eeyore’s home is such a fitting little addition to Gloommeadow. The simple stick tepee blends naturally into the woodland surroundings, and I think it suits him perfectly without trying to compete with the rest of the biome.

📜 Eeyore’s Friendship Quests

Eeyore’s friendship quests have a much more relaxed feel than Tigger’s, which feels very appropriate. There’s less bouncing around and more gentle problem-solving, with plenty of opportunities to see Eeyore’s dry humour and quieter personality come through. Here are Eeyore’s friendship quests in order, with his first quest becoming available when he is unlocked:

Level -: A Gloomy Goofy Adventure
Level 4: Tails and Tribulations
Level 7: The Shy Villagers Society
Level 10: Eeyore’s Lost and Found

I really enjoyed the slower pace of Eeyore’s storyline. There’s something quite cozy about quests that don’t feel like they’re constantly asking you to rush from one objective to another, and his personality makes even the quieter moments feel worthwhile.

As with other villagers, you can increase Eeyore’s friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you complete tasks around the Valley.

🎁 Eeyore’s Friendship Rewards

Eeyore’s friendship rewards lean into a softer woodland aesthetic, with plenty of pieces that feel right at home among the natural surroundings of Honeyglow Woods. I especially like how the furniture feels connected to the wider collection without being overly elaborate.

Level 2: Wildflower Garden Box (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Entwined Woodland Bench (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Entwined Woodland Bed (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif
Level 10: Gloomy Beret (Clothing item)

Including the level 10 reward listed above, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Eeyore’s friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level -: Eeyore Picnic Table (Furniture item)
⭐ Level 4: Eeyore's Tail (Clothing item)
⭐ Level 7: "Do Not Disturb" Sign (Furniture item); and Eeyore Purple Earmuffs (Clothing item)
⭐ Level 10: Gloomy Beret, Gloomy Plaid Jacket, Gloomy Plaid Shorts, Gloomy Slouchy Socks, Gloomy Chunky Shoes (Clothing items), Eeyore Iced Tea Stand, Eeyore Iced Tea Stand Teacups, Eeyore Iced Tea Stand Lemon Crate, Eeyore Iced Tea Stand Boots, and Lost-and-Found Kiosk (Furniture items)

You'll find these quest-locked rewards highlighted in the images below.

✨ Eeyore has been a lovely change of pace after starting this collection with Tigger. He’s obviously much quieter, but I think that actually makes him stand out in his own way. There’s something really charming about watching him wander around the Valley, looking as though he’s quietly wondering why he’s there in the first place.

His dialogue is probably one of my favourite parts of having him around. That dry, slightly gloomy humour feels so true to the character, and I’ve found myself stopping to talk to him just to see what he’ll say next.

I also really like how naturally he fits into Gloommeadow. His home, the surrounding environment, and the woodland furniture all work together beautifully, making it easy to imagine creating a quiet little corner of the Valley around him.

The friendship rewards are another highlight for me. They have that cozy, slightly rustic woodland feeling that works so well with the Honeyglow Woods aesthetic, and I’m excited to see how the rest of the Winnie the Pooh collection builds on this style.

With Eeyore now added to the collection, the Winnie the Pooh Villager Overviews are officially continuing through the Honeyglow Woods characters. I’m looking forward to welcoming the rest of the gang and seeing how each of them adds their own little piece of the Hundred Acre Wood feeling to the Valley.

Thanks for reading along in today's journal entry. Eeyore has now been added to the Villager Overview Hub, and I’ll be continuing through the Honeyglow Woods characters as I work my way through the rest of this wonderful collection. I'll catch you in the next entry!

✨ Villager Overview: Tigger

✨ This Villager Overview bounces into the Wishblossom Ranch, beginning a new collection of characters from one of Disney’s most beloved worlds: Winnie the Pooh. Energetic, enthusiastic, and seemingly incapable of doing anything at half speed, Tigger brings a completely different kind of energy to the Valley. He’s loud, playful, and wonderfully chaotic, but there’s also something incredibly endearing about how genuinely excited he is about almost everything.

From welcoming him into the Valley to progressing through his friendship quests, Tigger brings plenty of bouncing, adventure, and a little bit of trouble along the way - which feels very fitting for the wonderful world of Winnie the Pooh.

🔓 How To Unlock Tigger
(Click on any image to enlarge)

Tigger is part of the Wishblossom Ranch DLC and is unlocked through the Wishblossom Mountains storyline. After progressing through the story, you’ll eventually meet Tigger in the Hundred-Acre Fields area of the Pixie Acres biome and eventually begin his “Fun! Fun! Fun!” story quest. Once this story quest is completed, Tigger is unlocked and officially joins your Valley. During the quest, you’ll need to construct Tigger’s House, and once it’s built, Tigger will move into the Valley and be added to your Wishblossom Mountains character collection.

Tigger’s House is a really fun addition to the Valley. The treehouse design fits beautifully into more natural areas, and I think it would work especially well surrounded by trees, flowers, and other woodland-inspired decorations.

📜 Tigger’s Friendship Quests

Tigger’s friendship quests are exactly what I’d hoped for from him - energetic, playful, and full of his larger-than-life personality. There’s a nice mix of helping Tigger, dealing with the unexpected, and occasionally trying to keep up with whatever he’s decided to do next. Here are the four friendship quests you’ll receive from Tigger, with the first quest, “A Honey of a Problem,” available to start when he’s unlocked:

Level -: A Honey of a Problem
Level 4: Terribly Twitchy Tigger
Level 7: Woozle Bamboozle
Level 10: A Tiggerific Day

Even Tigger’s smaller interactions feel very Tigger. He brings so much enthusiasm to the Valley that it’s difficult not to smile when you see him bouncing around.

As with other villagers, you can increase Tigger’s friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you complete tasks around the Valley.

🎁 Tigger’s Friendship Rewards

Tigger’s rewards carry that same playful woodland style you would expect from the Winnie the Pooh theme and blend well alongside the wider furniture collection in Wishblossom Ranch.

Level 2: Springy Drafting Desk (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Treehouse Closet (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Springy Stool (Furniture item)
Level 9: Touch of Magic Material
Level 10: "Welkum Family" Poster (Furniture item)

Including the level 10 reward listed above, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Tigger’s friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level -: Royal Bee Crown (Clothing item), and Giant Beehive (Furniture item; crafting recipe)
⭐ Level 10: Tiggerific Bucket Hat, "Only One" Tigger Jersey, Tigger-Striped Pants (Clothing items), Tiggerific Horse Blanket, and Tiggerific Poster Billboard (Furniture items)

You'll find these quest-locked rewards highlighted in the images below.

✨ Tigger is such a fun character to have wandering around the Valley. He has so much personality that he immediately stands out, but in a way that feels completely natural for him. There’s something cozy about seeing him bouncing around the Wishblossom Ranch, and his treehouse home feels like a natural extension of that world rather than something disconnected from the rest of Pixie Acres.

The friendship rewards were also a lovely introduction to the Winnie the Pooh collection. I’m always happy when character rewards feel connected to the world they come from, and Tigger’s definitely do.

And, of course, this is only the beginning of the Winnie the Pooh Villager Overviews. With Tigger now covered, I’ll be starting on the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack characters and adding the gang to the collection one by one.

That wraps up this Villager Overview - thanks so much for reading! Tigger has now been added to the Villager Overview Hub, and I’m looking forward to continuing through the Winnie the Pooh characters and seeing where the rest of the gang takes me.

✨ Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack Arrives Tomorrow!

The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update is almost here, with the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack arriving tomorrow! I can't wait to jump into the game and begin uncovering the mystery behind Honeyglow Woods.

This is the first update of its kind, with Gameloft introducing Adventure Packs as a new type of paid DLC that sits alongside the free content updates we continue to receive throughout the year, while still leaving room for the larger yearly Expansions we've come to expect. If you've been wondering how Adventure Packs differ from Expansions, Gameloft explained it best:

"Some ideas for content don't quite fit into a free update but also don't quite fill out the scope of a yearly Expansion, which is why we created Adventure Packs!"

Honeyglow Woods introduces three new characters - Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet - each bringing their own friendship quests, rewards, and charming new homes to the Valley.

Alongside the new characters are four beautiful new areas to explore: Drowsybloom Acre, Gloommeadow, Braveheart Grove, and Nectar Apiary, each looking wonderfully unique from the next. There's also a brand-new story to experience, a new critter companion, cooking recipes, furniture, the new Beekeeping feature, enchantments, and I'm sure plenty of surprises Gameloft has deliberately kept hidden. Honestly, discovering those unexpected little moments is one of my favourite parts of every update.

One thing I'm still hoping to see is Honeyglow Woods getting the base Valley stalls, such as Beast's Greenhouse or Kristoff's Stall, but stocked with resources exclusive to the Honeyglow Woods. Whether that happens or not, there's already so much to look forward to. I also can't wait to browse through the updated Collection menu, check out the new map, and explore every corner of Honeyglow Woods at my own pace.

With less than 12 hours to go until Honeyglow Woods becomes available, I've created my usual release time graphic above for a selection of regions around the world. Release times will vary depending on where you're playing from, so I hope it helps you plan your first adventure.

For me, the update arrives at 11:00 PM (AEST), so I'll be purchasing it as soon as it becomes available before letting everything download overnight. That means I'll be ready to step into Honeyglow Woods bright and early on 9 July, coffee in hand as always.

Gameloft has also released the official Patch Notes ahead of launch, giving us a closer look at what's coming, along with the usual collection of bug fixes and a quality-of-life improvement.

One detail I was really pleased to read is that not only can the Honeyglow Woods Tree Portal be placed anywhere in your Valley, but also anywhere on your base game Floating Islands. It can also be removed/replaced at anytime.

The new Beekeeping feature also isn't limited to Honeyglow Woods. Busy Bees' Houses can be placed throughout your base Valley too, which opens up some fun decorating possibilities. I'm also hoping that extends to existing DLC areas, but we'll soon find out!

Another improvement that caught my attention is the refreshed Fast Travel menu. It features a new layout along with the ability to favourite your most-visited locations. It'll be available to all players, and I always appreciate these smaller quality-of-life improvements that make everyday gameplay just a little smoother.

Some other highlights for me include the fix for missing raindrop visuals on certain platforms (I was definitely affected by that one!) and Gameloft's helpful heads-up about an upcoming Eeyore quest that includes a simple workaround should you run into the issue.

There's also plenty more covered in the full Patch Notes on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley website.

There's also a brand-new Twitch Drop arriving with the update!

From July 8 at 10:00 AM EDT until July 15 at 9:59 AM EDT, you'll be able to unlock Piglet's Clothesline simply by watching participating Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitch streams.

I'm completely new to Twitch Drops myself 😂, but from what I've learned, you'll first need to link your Twitch account with the account you use to play Disney Dreamlight Valley. After that, simply watch a participating stream for 60 minutes, claim the reward through Twitch, and it should arrive in your in-game mailbox.

You can link your Twitch account through the official Disney Dreamlight Valley website, where you'll also find the full list of participating creators. If this is your first Twitch Drop too, you're definitely not alone!

Don't forget that Honeyglow Woods also includes an Early Adopter Bonus!

If you purchase and play the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack before 22 July, you'll unlock the exclusive Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style, which will be delivered straight to your in-game mailbox. It's a lovely little bonus for jumping into Honeyglow Woods early, so definitely don't miss it if you're planning on picking up the Adventure Pack.

▶️ To add to the excitement, I've also been creating a range of Honeyglow Woods videos over on my YouTube channel, with my latest covering the things I'm most looking forward to in this Adventure Pack. You can check that out here.

Thanks for joining me in today's Cozy Valley Journal entry. I hope you have an amazing time taking your first steps into Honeyglow Woods and enjoy that familiar feeling of loading into a brand-new adventure for the very first time.

If you're just as excited for this update as I am, be sure to stop by my socials over the coming days. I'll be sharing my adventures, guides, discoveries, and plenty more as I explore Honeyglow Woods 🍯

✨ Next Update: Honeyglow Woods Arrives Next Week!

There's just over one week to go before the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack arrives in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

Like many of you, I'm incredibly excited for this update - especially because it's the first expansion of its kind. Honeyglow Woods marks the game's very first Adventure Pack, and from everything we've seen so far, it looks like such a wonderfully cozy addition to the Valley.

As with every new expansion, one of my favourite moments is stepping into a brand-new world for the very first time. While this update is no different in that sense, I can't help but wonder just how big Honeyglow Woods will be. How will it compare to previous DLCs we've explored over the years? Will it feel just as expansive, just on a slightly smaller scale?

Four Beautiful Areas to Explore

One detail I found particularly interesting is that Gameloft consistently refers to these locations as areas, rather than biomes. That immediately made me wonder whether the overall Adventure Pack may be a little smaller than I first expected.

Looking back at previous DLCs like Eternity Isle, Storybook Vale and Wishblossom Ranch, each map is made up of several large biomes, with every biome divided into multiple regions. For example, the Mythopia biome in Storybook Vale contains The Elysian Fields, The Fiery Plains, The Statue's Shadow and Mount Olympus.

If I had to guess before launch, I imagine Honeyglow Woods may follow a similar approach - one larger world made up of the four confirmed areas we've already seen:

• Drowsy Bloom Acres
• Gloommeadow
• Brave Heart Grove
• Nectar Apiary

The difference, at least from what we've seen so far, is that each area appears to have its own unique atmosphere and personality, making every corner of Honeyglow Woods feel distinct from the next.

Winnie the Pooh and Friends

Honeyglow Woods introduces three beloved Disney characters: Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore.

I'll admit they weren't right at the top of my personal character wishlist, but honestly, every new content update - whether it's free or paid - is something I genuinely look forward to. New characters always mean new stories to experience, friendship quests to complete, rewards to unlock and another cozy corner of the Valley to decorate, which is one of my favourite parts of Dreamlight Valley.

Each character also arrives with their own beautifully themed home, friendship questline and exclusive rewards, giving us even more reasons to spend time exploring Honeyglow Woods once it releases.

New Furniture to Decorate With

Oh, bother... you all know by now that furniture is my biggest weakness in Dreamlight Valley. I absolutely love discovering new furniture and décor pieces, and Honeyglow Woods looks packed with them...

Throughout the Summer Showcase, announcement trailer and gameplay footage, I couldn't stop pausing to look at all the little details scattered throughout the environment. The furniture already revealed looks absolutely beautiful, and my mind instantly jumps to how I can incorporate many of these pieces into my existing builds throughout the Valley.

I've included a collection of most furniture items I spotted in the image above. Did you notice them all? I'm also hoping Gameloft is still keeping a few surprises hidden for launch.

Early Adopter Bonus

Honeyglow Woods also includes a lovely Early Adopter Bonus if you plan to jump in straight away.

If you purchase and play Honeyglow Woods before July 22, you'll receive the exclusive Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style, giving Pooh an adorable new look as you explore your honey-filled adventure.

One small detail that's worth mentioning is that simply purchasing the Adventure Pack doesn't appear to be enough. Based on the information shared so far, you'll also need to launch and play Honeyglow Woods before the deadline to unlock the bonus Dream Style.

Looking Closer

While the Summer Showcase introduced Honeyglow Woods, it also revealed plenty of smaller details hidden throughout the gameplay that weren't specifically highlighted during the presentation.

One of my favourite discoveries is a brand-new market stall, which appears to stock several previously unseen seed varieties. I wouldn't be surprised if Winnie the Pooh ends up running it himself... or at least, I'm hoping he does!

Looking even closer, the gameplay also reveals new crops, unique trees, natural pathways and plenty of decorative pieces scattered throughout Honeyglow Woods, giving decorators even more inspiration to work with.

We also catch a glimpse of the cooking interface and inventory, teasing several new ingredients, including Tree Resin and Sweet Jelly. We also see Sweet Chestnut and Golden Honey combined to create the new Honeycrunch Bar.

Considering the Adventure Pack launches on July 8 for USD $16.99 (approximately AUD $25) and includes 2,000 Moonstones, I honestly think it offers fantastic value based on everything we've seen so far. Even with all these reveals, I have a feeling Honeyglow Woods is still keeping plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered.

✨ I'll be covering more of Honeyglow Woods over the coming week leading up to launch. And once the Adventure Pack arrives, I'll also be sharing plenty of guides, tips and discoveries as I explore this cozy new adventure.

Thanks for joining me in today's Cozy Valley Journal entry. If you'd like to follow along with everything arriving in Honeyglow Woods, you'll find links to all of my socials in the sidebar. I'd love to have you along for the adventure! 🍯

✨ First Look at Honeyglow Woods Arriving July 8

✨ A New Adventure Begins! Gear up and get ready for an all-new adventure in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods arrives on July 8, bringing Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore to the game in an entirely new Adventure Pack. From everything I've seen so far, this looks like a wonderfully cozy expansion, and I'm really looking forward to exploring something completely different. I can't wait to see how it all comes together once we finally step into Honeyglow Woods.

One of my favourite details is how you'll access the new area. Rather than travelling through the Dream Castle, Honeyglow Woods introduces a tree portal that can be placed anywhere in your Valley, creating a seamless way to begin your next adventure.

The Summer Showcase certainly didn't disappoint!

There's so much to cover over the coming weeks, but for now I simply wanted to share a first look at Honeyglow Woods and some of the details that immediately stood out to me.

The new bee feature instantly caught my attention, allowing you to produce honey by placing flowers around a bee house. Once fully pollinated, the bee house will also increase the growth speed of nearby flowers within the same sub-biome. I was also excited to spot an entirely new range of flowers. I use flowers regularly when decorating around my Valley, so having even more varieties to build with is something I've been hoping for.

There's plenty to look forward to. The new characters will each arrive with their own homes, friendship quests, and rewards, while the Adventure Pack also introduces new meals to cook, furniture to craft, and plenty of quests to complete.

We're also getting themed building skins for both Chez Remy and Scrooge's Store, adding a unique way to decorate Honeyglow Woods with these beautiful new designs.

As someone who loves decorating, I'm especially excited about having an entirely new space to work with. Integrating existing furniture with everything arriving in Honeyglow Woods is going to keep me busy for quite a while!

Another surprise was the brand-new stall. Looking closely, it even appears to feature new seeds available for purchase. I can't wait to set this up in-game, and honestly... it wouldn't surprise me if Winnie the Pooh ends up running it himself!

The Adventure pack is better value than I expected.

One detail that genuinely surprised me was the price. Honeyglow Woods will be available for USD $16.99 (approximately AUD $25) and includes 2,000 Moonstones, with the base game required to play.

Considering everything shown during the Summer Showcase and Honeyglow Woods announcement trailer, I honestly expected it to cost more. Four new areas, three new characters, a brand-new critter, villager homes, quests, friendship rewards, furniture, meals, crafting recipes, Moonstones... it already looks like excellent value.

If you're planning to pick it up, there's also an Early Adopter Bonus. Purchasing Honeyglow Woods before July 22 (11:59 PM ET) rewards you with an exclusive Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style

Looking Ahead...

Of course, the excitement didn't stop with Honeyglow Woods. The Summer Showcase also teased the next free content update with the line:

"A long-awaited villager smashes his way into the Valley."

I think we all know who that is!

And later this year we'll once again be treated to the annual end-of-year Showcase, giving us another exciting look at what's still to come for Disney Dreamlight Valley and a deep dive into the next Expansion.

I'll be covering much more of Honeyglow Woods, along with everything announced during the Summer Showcase, over the next few weeks leading up to the July 8 release. And of course, once this exciting new Adventure Pack arrives, I'll also be sharing plenty of information and guides to help you make the most of your adventure.

Thanks for joining me in today's Cozy Valley Journal entry. I can't wait to explore Honeyglow Woods and share everything I discover once this brand-new adventure begins
