✨ One final batch of Storybook Vale desserts to complete the collection! This second set brings another 11 recipes to the table, from Persimmon Pie and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie to Rice Pudding, the sour fondues, and a few simpler sweet treats. I've really enjoyed putting these dessert guides together, and there's one dish in this batch that easily steals the show for me… Underworld Cake! 🍰
I always find desserts particularly appealing to showcase, and that's a big part of what makes putting these cooking guides together so much fun. There's something about the colours, little decorative details, and variety of finished dishes that makes them especially enjoyable to photograph and arrange. Underworld Cake is easily my favourite from this batch, and it's the kind of dessert that makes me want to build an entire display around it!
This collection also has a lovely mix of fruit-based treats and simpler, creamy desserts. Persimmon Pie, Sour Berry Pie, Spiral Strawberry Pie, and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie bring together some familiar favourites, while the four sour fondues across the full collection (two in the current entry) add something a little different. Rice Pudding, Spicy Yogurt, and Vanilla Yogurt round things out with simpler options, too. One little thing I noticed while making these recipes is that the pies look almost identical, with only slight colour differences between them. It's a shame when you're trying to create a varied dessert table - perhaps they'd be better suited to a pie-eating contest instead! 😂 Still, I wanted to finish cooking and cataloguing every Storybook Vale recipe, so here we are!

These recipes use a mixture of ingredients gathered throughout Storybook Vale, including Persimmons, Sour Berries, Spiral Strawberries, and other expansion ingredients, alongside a few known to the Valley such as Rice and Vanilla. It's a nice reminder of how much variety the cooking collection offers, even when some finished dishes look surprisingly similar.

The Energy and Star Coin values may be higher if you've used a different generic ingredient required in a recipe or added an extra ingredient while cooking, as either can increase one or both values.
