✨ Parks Floating Festival Event

✨ The Parks Floating Festival is currently available in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but not for much longer! The event comes to a wrap on September 8, so there’s only a little time left to complete everything.

This event invites you to a new floating island, which you can access through the portal in the Plaza (or via the Fast Travel menu), and features 6 limited-time puzzles to complete, with each completed puzzle rewarding you with an event-exclusive item.

The event started on August 19, however, there were only 2 puzzles available to complete when it first began, with 2 additional puzzles unlocking each week on August 26 and September 2. With all six puzzles now available to complete, be sure to finish everything before the island floats away! As this is the first time this event has appeared, I'm unsure if these rewards will be made available next year if and when the event returns. Read on to see how to complete each one.

You can check out a list of the puzzles available during this event, along with a photo and video walkthrough for each one, as well as the reward you'll earn once each puzzle is completed.

🧩 Puzzle 1: Adventureland Trash Bins

Locate and collect 20 Parks Floating Festival Plastic Scraps scattered around the Parks Floating Festival island, then interact with the trash bin on Main Street to transfer the scraps.

Craft the Plant-A-Way Potion to upgrade your watering can and remove the Carnivorous Plants around the floating island. The potion recipe can be located inside a Red Chest on the floating island.

🧩 Puzzle 3: Adventureland Entrance

Interact with the area below the Adventureland Entry Arch, located just in front of the waterfall to the left of the Castle, to complete the reorder stories puzzle. Completing this puzzle also unlocks a portal to the Adventureland floating island.

Locate the combination puzzle pillar in the Adventureland area of the floating island. Interact with each of the 4 tiles to match the number of each critter found across both event islands. You can find the solution for each tile in the image above.

Locate five flower planters around the Adventureland floating island and transfer the required flowers for each one. You can check out the locations of the planters and find the list of flowers required in the image above. You will need to collect any required flowers from the Valley.

What I'm enjoying most about these newly added events to Dreamlight Valley is that the floating festivals take place outside of the Valley, causing no disruption to gameplay, including the spawning of event items that may be required during each event. It's also exciting to explore a new area of the game, especially when trying to locate where each new puzzle is.

While each puzzle was a little too easy to complete in my opinion, I can appreciate having something to do in the game and working towards collecting all of the event rewards. I really loved that all of the items for this event were furniture items and that they were themed so well. Adding 2 puzzles each week also helped to pace out the event, without feeling overwhelmed or getting that sense of "must complete all puzzles today" type of feeling.

✨ Summer Sizzle Event

✨ The Summer Sizzle Event has returned to Dreamlight Valley this year, running from August 5 to August 18! For me, this is one of those lovely, slower-paced events. Considering just how much there has been to do in the game lately, I have absolutely no complaints - I always enjoy having a breather and soaking in a few slow weeks.

As with all events, Summer Sizzle comes with event-exclusive rewards, with a total of 12 to collect. Of these rewards, there are 5 brand-new ones to unlock in this returning 2026 event!

This event will have you collecting marshmallows from marshmallow bushes that appear in your Valley. You'll be able to find a total of 6 bushes across the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow - three bushes are dedicated to collecting Blue Marshmallows, and the other three are for Pink Marshmallows. Collecting these is crucial, as they allow you to cook event-related meals, craft cozy furniture items, and complete event duties to unlock your rewards!

The Summer Sizzle Event brings two types of delicious campfire meals: Roasted Marshmallows and S'mores.

This event also comes with three event duties to track in your menu.

Gifting 25 Roasted Marshmallows to Villagers will complete the 'Share Some Sweetness' event duty and unlock the Birding Top (clothing item). Though information on the Dreamlight Valley Wiki page states you'll need to gift S'mores to complete this duty. As I completed this duty a few years back, I'm unable to confirm which of these is correct. If you're yet to complete this duty, definitely test it by gifting one of each meal to see which counts towards the event duty when tracking it in the event tab.

Eating 25 S'mores will complete the 'Savor Some Sweetness' event duty and unlock the Hiking Backpack (clothing item).

One of my absolute favourite parts of any event has to be crafting special items, and Summer Sizzle comes with 5 different items you can craft. Each one requires event meals as part of its crafting recipe:

The return of the Summer Sizzle Event in 2026 has brought some exciting new rewards with it! To unlock these items, you'll need to complete daily event quests given by Remy, Goofy, or Ursula. Doing so will progress you through the brand-new 'Deliver Some Sweetness' event duty to unlock the following:

Completing 1 Daily Quest: Unlocks the Decorative Picnic Basket (Furniture item)

Completing 2 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock crafting recipe

Completing 4 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock Corner crafting recipe

Completing 6 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock Boat Port crafting recipe

Completing a daily event quest will also reward you with a 'Summer Picnic Basket' item, which pops straight into your inventory. You have the option to either gift this to one of your villagers, or sell it through Goofy's stall. Personally, I held onto mine and placed them in one of my event storage chests! While it looks identical, this item does vary from the 'Decorative Picnic Basket' (furniture item), which can be ordered in more quantities from Scrooge's Store.

Once unlocked, you can use the crafting recipes below for each of the new Lake Dock pieces:

As you can see from all the cooking and crafting recipes, collecting both Blue and Pink Marshmallows during the Summer Sizzle Event is absolutely crucial. Be sure to gather as many as you can before the event wraps up on August 18!

Cozy Tip: Don't forget to bring a Foraging buddy along with you while you complete your rounds. Hanging out with them means you'll get plenty of bonus drops when harvesting those marshmallow bushes!

✨ Pop City Star Path Out Now!

✨ The Pixel Perfect update has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley - and with it comes the Pop City Star Path! 

At first glance, I wasn't immediately sold on this Star Path. The overall theme didn't grab me quite as quickly as Godly Glamor did, but as I spent more time looking through the rewards, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the variety on offer. There are quite a few pieces that I can already picture using around the Valley, not only in city-inspired builds, but mixed into existing areas to add a little extra personality.

That said... following Godly Glamor was never going to be easy. That Star Path quickly became one of my all-time favourites, so my expectations coming into this one were naturally quite high.

Like previous Star Paths, you'll complete a range of event duties to earn Neon Tokens, which can then be exchanged for rewards throughout the event catalogue. Alongside the usual furniture, clothing, motifs and Moonstones, this Star Path also includes Tuxedo Ralph as a new Dream Style and the adorable Calico Kitten companion.

Even though I'm still very early into working through the rewards, there are already a few furniture pieces that have caught my attention. The Neon Recording Booth, Valley Tram, Dreamlight Bus Stop, San Fransokyo Food Stall, and San Fransokyo Square Archway all stand out pieces that I can see myself decorating with around the Valley. Even though some unique designs and colours, these items should fit nicely into more modern or town-style builds.

One thing I've learned over the years is not to judge a Star Path too quickly. Some of my favourite furniture collections didn't immediately stand out when I first saw the reward pages, but completely changed my opinion once I started placing the items around the Valley. Seeing how pieces work together often gives me a whole new appreciation for them, so I'm keeping an open mind with this one.

It's been a slightly slower start for me this time around, but I'm looking forward to gradually unlocking everything over the coming weeks and seeing how my opinion evolves. Sometimes the rewards you weren't expecting end up becoming the ones you use the most.

For now though, it's time to keep working through those duties and building up my Neon Tokens. I'll be back closer to the end of the event with my full thoughts, favourite rewards, and whether the Pop City Star Path manages to surprise me even more once I've completed the entire catalogue.

✨ Picture Pursuit Event

The Picture Pursuit Event is currently available in Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing a fun new photography challenge to the Valley. Running from July 15 through July 28, this limited-time event gives you a new daily quest from different villagers, sending you to a specific part of the Valley (and beyond!) to photograph hidden motifs scattered throughout each location.

Each Picture Pursuit quest rewards a brand-new Design Motif, giving you a total of seven exclusive motifs to collect throughout the event.

You'll also unlock the Pure Cinema Photo Frame after completing five Picture Pursuit quests, providing a bonus reward even before you've finished the entire event.

📸 How the Picture Pursuit Event Works

During the event, one Picture Pursuit quest becomes available each day. While the quests are released daily, the order appears to vary between players, so don't worry if your next quest is different from someone else's.

Each quest asks you to visit a specific location and photograph four hidden motifs using your Royal Phone. Once you've photographed every motif, return to the villager to complete the quest and claim your reward.

You'll also need to have the required villagers unlocked before their event quests can appear.

I really enjoyed this event. It was a nice change of pace compared to some of the previous collection events, and while I'm not usually someone who gets too excited about Design Motifs, I really enjoyed adding this new set to my collection.

The daily release schedule was another nice touch. Logging in each day to see which villager would appear next gave the event a relaxed pace, and I enjoyed putting together a guide for each quest as they became available.

✨ Godly Glamor Star Path: Event Ends

✨ Ralph is due to arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley on July 29, which also means the current Star Path event is almost at an end! In today's journal entry, I wanted to look back at the Godly Glamor Star Path, some of its standout rewards, and share what I thought after completing it. And honestly? This Star Path did not disappoint. 

Completing the routine duties to earn event tokens never felt like a major grind - perhaps because I was genuinely excited to unlock everything in the catalogue. Every time I completed another page, there was something I was looking forward to collecting, and by the time I'd finished the Star Path, it had comfortably exceeded my expectations.

Like previous Star Paths, the rewards included furniture, wardrobe pieces, accessories, a companion, glider, motifs, and around 1,900 Moonstones that could be earned back throughout the event. But for me, it was always the furniture collection that completely stole the show.

The Godly Glamor Star Path is hands down my favourite Star Path of the year... maybe even my top three Star Paths ever... and honestly? It might just take the number one spot. That's saying a lot, considering how many Star Paths we've had over the years.

The Ancient Stadium collection alone was enough to win me over. The Ancient Stadium Seats, Walkway, Entry, and Walls all feel like premium furniture pieces that work beautifully on their own, but become something really special when used together. Whether you're creating a small courtyard or an enormous mythical arena, these pieces scale incredibly well and offer so much creative freedom.

Mix those with the existing Hercules furniture collection and the landscaping rewards included in this Star Path, and you've suddenly got everything you need to create incredible builds throughout Mythopia. It honestly feels like these rewards were designed with that biome in mind, and I absolutely love that attention to detail.

From the moment I first browsed through the reward pages, to unlocking each furniture item and finally decorating with them around the Valley, I thoroughly enjoyed this Star Path. Everything feels cohesive, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully grand. You can really tell a lot of care went into these rewards.

While I wasn't quite as excited by the clothing collection, I certainly wasn't disappointed either. There were actually several pieces I could see myself using, including the Toga Dress variations, Hercules' Shield, Gladiator Sandals, Olympian Bracelet, Apollo Costume Armor, Apollo Sandals, Apollo's Crested Helmet, and the Laurel of Olympus. I can already picture the Apollo outfit making an appearance in the right DreamSnaps challenge.

My favourite rewards, though, definitely came from the furniture collection. The Golden Gates of Olympus, Gold and Marble Pillar, Golden Olympian Tree, and the Olympic Golden Planet all became instant favourites. Combined with the Ancient Stadium collection, they created one of the strongest furniture sets I've seen in a Star Path to date.

And then there's the Olympian Cloud Mansion. At first I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from it, but once placed in-game it completely won me over. It fits the mythology theme beautifully while adding that magical floating-cloud touch that makes it feel right at home in Mythopia.

This Star Path also continued the new Vault Rewards system, which I still think is a fantastic addition. The mix of returning rewards, reimagined furniture designed around the current Star Path theme, and red chests if you already owned returning items gave me another reason to keep checking back each week. It made completing the entire Star Path feel even more worthwhile.

Overall, I genuinely don't have many negatives to say about Godly Glamor. For me, this is exactly what a Star Path should be: a strong theme, memorable furniture, rewards that inspire new builds, and enough variety to keep me excited from the very first page right through to the bonus rewards.

It's one I'll definitely look back on as one of Dreamlight Valley's very best.

With just under a week to go, now's the perfect time to jump back into the Valley, finish any remaining duties, claim your event tokens, and pick up any rewards you've been saving for before this Star Path ascends back to Mount Olympus ⚡🏛️

✨ Dreamlight Parks Fest Event

The Dreamlight Parks Fest event made its return to Disney Dreamlight Valley this year, running from June 10 through June 30, bringing back themed popcorn buckets, event cupcakes, limited-time duties, and several brand-new rewards for this year's event.

What I've always enjoyed about this event is that it encourages you to explore almost every part of the Valley. Whether you're fishing, collecting buttons, completing quests, or crafting decorations, there's always something to work towards. If you're hoping to unlock everything before the event ends, it's worth getting started early as several rewards require completing daily event activities over multiple days.

In this guide, I've put together a full overview of where to find every event button, all popcorn bucket crafting recipes, event cupcake recipes, limited-time duties, and this year's new event furniture rewards.

Where to Find Event Buttons

Every popcorn bucket recipe requires event buttons, with each colour obtained in a different way throughout the event.

🔴 Red Buttons can be found throughout Dreamlight Valley near villager houses.

🔵 Blue Buttons are caught by fishing in the purple fishing ripples found in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.

🟢 Green Buttons are rewarded when completing the Dreamlight Parks Fest daily and weekly event quests.

🟣 Purple Buttons are crafted using 1 Blue Button, 2 Red Buttons, and 100 Dreamlight.

🟡🌼 Flower Buttons can be found throughout the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.

Once you've collected enough buttons, you'll be able to begin crafting the event's themed popcorn buckets.

Popcorn Bucket Crafting 

One of the highlights of Dreamlight Parks Fest is collecting and crafting the themed popcorn buckets. The event includes eight different popcorn bucket furniture items, each with its own crafting recipe.

One detail I really like is that crafting each popcorn bucket doesn't just unlock the furniture version - it also unlocks the matching handheld accessory, letting your avatar carry the same popcorn bucket while exploring the Valley.

Three of the eight popcorn buckets are unlocked by progressing through the event quests:

These recipes are unlocked early in the event after completing Scrooge McDuck's Dreamlight Parks Fest quest.

Although the cupcakes are fun seasonal recipes to add to your collection, they're also an important part of the event, as many of the daily quests ask you to cook and gift them to villagers in exchange for Green Buttons.

With collectible buttons, themed popcorn buckets, event-exclusive cupcakes, furniture rewards, and new quests, Dreamlight Parks Fest remains one of the biggest recurring seasonal events in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There's plenty to work towards over the three weeks, and it's one I always enjoy revisiting each year.

If you're planning to unlock everything, don't leave it until the final few days. Completing the daily quests regularly will make collecting Green Buttons much easier, and you'll have plenty of time to craft every reward before the event ends on June 30.

✨ Godly Glamor Star Path Out Now!

✨ The next update is here in Disney Dreamlight Valley - and with it comes an all-new Star Path: Godly Glamor!

From first impressions, this may be one of the most exciting Star Path themes I've seen in quite some time. Inspired by Disney's Hercules, the reward catalogue is packed with elegant, mythology-inspired items that immediately caught my attention the moment I started scrolling through them.

Where the previous Elements of Nature Star Path leaned into earthy tones and natural builds, Godly Glamor takes things in a completely different direction. Gold accents, marble-inspired pieces, grand decorations, and a touch of Mount Olympus elegance give this Star Path a much more luxurious feel. As someone who enjoys decorating themed areas around the Valley, there are already several items I can see myself using long-term, especially mixed with the existing set of trees that came with the Storybook Vale DLC.

As with previous Star Paths, you'll need to complete duties to earn event tokens, which can then be exchanged for rewards across multiple pages. Alongside furniture, clothing, Moonstones, motifs, a companion, and bonus rewards, the Vault system also returns, offering even more items to unlock throughout the course of the event.

It's still far too early for me to have any strong opinions on the rewards themselves, but I have to admit - this theme immediately clicked with me in a way the previous Star Path didn't. There are already several furniture pieces I'm looking forward to unlocking, and I'm especially curious to see how some of the larger decorative items look once they're placed around the Valley.

One thing I've learned over the years is that Star Path rewards often look completely different once you start decorating with them. Some of my favourite furniture pieces today weren't necessarily the ones that stood out on day one. So while first impressions are important, I'll be interested to see whether Godly Glamor continues to impress once I've collected everything and had a chance to properly experiment with the rewards.

For now though, it's time to start working through those duties and building up my event tokens. I'll be back closer to the end of the event with my full thoughts, favourite rewards, and whether this Star Path ends up living up to its very strong first impression.

✨ Treasure Hunt Event

 ✨ The Treasure Hunt Event has returned to Disney Dreamlight Valley, running from May 27 through to June 9. While you may recognise this event from last year, this year's return introduces two brand-new rewards to collect: the Pirate Throne furniture item and the Pirate Mickey Design Motif.

What I've always enjoyed about the Treasure Hunt event is that it encourages you to visit all areas of the Valley to look for clues. Rather than focusing on crafting or gathering event resources, this event revolves around solving clues, uncovering hidden treasure chests, and piecing together a mystery that unfolds over several days.

How to Unlock the New Rewards

To unlock the new rewards, you'll need to keep an eye out for special red-and-gold fishing ripples. These can appear in the Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, or Glade of Trust.

Fishing in one of these unique ripples rewards a Treasure Trove Clue. Each clue points toward a hidden treasure chest somewhere in the Valley, though the location isn't revealed directly. Instead, you'll need to solve the riddle and clear specific obstacles within the hinted biome in the clue until the treasure chest appears. 

Finding each hidden treasure rewards one memory piece. Once you've claimed a memory piece for the day, you'll need to wait until the following day for another red-and-gold fishing ripple to appear. Because of this daily progression system, the event takes a minimum of four days to complete, so it's worth starting as soon as possible if you'd like to unlock all available rewards before the event ends.

After collecting all four memory pieces, the completed memory reveals the location of the final hidden treasure. Head to Dazzle Beach near Skull Rock and dig at the location shown in the completed memory to uncover a reward pouch. Opening the pouch rewards you with the Pirate Throne furniture item.

To unlock the Pirate Mickey Design Motif, you'll also need to complete the Fishing for Adventure event duty. This is completed automatically once you've collected all four memory pieces from the event's fishing activity. Once finished, the motif can be claimed through the Events tab.

Personally, I think the Pirate Throne is the standout reward this year. It's a fun decorative piece that works surprisingly well in pirate-themed builds, adventure areas, and even some of the more rustic corners of the Valley.

How to Solve Every Treasure Trove Clue

The Treasure Hunt Event is one of the more relaxed seasonal events in Dreamlight Valley. I like that it doesn't consume too much time each day to work through, while still giving you a reason to log in and continue progressing toward the final reward. 

If you're planning to participate, don't leave it until the last minute. Since collecting all four memory pieces requires a minimum of four days, it's worth getting started early to ensure you have enough time to complete the event and claim both new rewards before June 9.

✨ Elements of Nature Star Path: Event Ends

✨ With the next update arriving on June 3, it also means the current Star Path event is due to wrap up! In today’s journal entry, I wanted to go over some of the Elements of Nature Star Path rewards and share what I thought of them.

As with all Star Paths, you’ll need to complete routine duties to earn event tokens, which can then be exchanged for a variety of rewards from the event catalogue.

While this Star Path, like all others, included a mix of furniture, decorative pieces, clothing, Moonstones (yes, you can earn some back!), motifs, and even a companion and themed glider, I mainly complete Star Paths for two reasons: being a completionist, and wanting to own every furniture item possible that Dreamlight Valley has to offer.

The current Star Path didn’t immediately call out to me when it was first released. There was something about the theming that I just wasn’t fully connecting with - nonetheless, I still completed the duties and collected every reward this event had to offer, which is something I’ve always done regardless of how I initially feel about the items. And honestly? Once I started placing the furniture down around the Valley, my opinion shifted dramatically for the better - which genuinely surprised me.

That shift really happened once I began staging the pieces together in different builds. My first impression was that I might only use a handful of items here and there, depending on the theme. But after experimenting a bit more, I started appreciating the contrast this Star Path offered. You’ve got volcanic-themed pieces on one end, and softer, garden-inspired items on the other - two very different aesthetics - but somehow they worked incredibly well together once placed in-game.

The rewards that stood out immediately for me was the Willow Tree, Crystalline Alcove, and the Blossom Tree Critter Home. I absolutely love garden-style builds, so having two new tree designs instantly ticked my box. Meanwhile, the Crystalline Alcove felt so unique that my mind immediately jumped to some kind of gem room or magical cave design, especially with the matching wallpaper and flooring available alongside it.

The volcano-themed items looked okay at first, but once I placed them down properly, I ended up loving the texture detail on two of the larger pieces in particular: the Lava Stone Stream and Flowing Volcano. These worked surprisingly well alongside darker overgrown trees and helped fill out empty areas without making builds feel overly cluttered. I could also see them working beautifully in the Forgotten Lands for more villain-inspired designs. The Lava Flow Bodysuit was also a really unique addition. I probably won’t use it often during regular gameplay, but it definitely opens up some creative possibilities for future DreamSnaps themes.

As for the clothing rewards overall… this is probably where the Star Path was weakest for me personally. The only item I can really see myself using at times is the Nature’s Protector Pauldron Top. The rest of the clothing leaned much more feminine in styling, especially with the three Perfect Petals Dress variations. They’re beautifully designed - just not items I personally see myself wearing often.

Another huge surprise for me was the Giant Lotus Flower House. This is the final bonus reward of the event, and it became one of my favourite items in the entire Star Path once I finally placed it down in the Valley. It has such a calm, magical feel to it and works beautifully near water or in more overgrown areas.

This Star Path also introduced Vault Rewards, which unlocked weekly throughout the event and required you to complete all three routine duties released each week. I actually think this was a really smart addition. Not only does it encourage you to fully complete the Star Path, but it also gave players the opportunity to collect returning items they may have missed from older Star Path events - alongside alternate “skin” variations of existing rewards.

And if you already owned one of the returning Star Path items? You instead received a red chest reward box containing a random furniture item. I was actually pleasantly surprised by these. Two of the items I received - the Deluxe Beverage Cabinet (🏷️ Oswald the Lucky Rabbit) and the Dart Board (🏷️ Winnie the Pooh | Wishblossom Ranch DLC) - were both furniture pieces I didn’t already own, so that made the system feel much more rewarding than I expected.

Overall, while Elements of Nature still isn’t one of my all-time favourite Star Paths, it definitely ended much stronger than it started for me. Some of the items genuinely surprised me once I started decorating with them, and I can absolutely see myself reusing quite a few of these pieces in future builds around the Valley.

It may not have had the immediate “wow” factor of something like Witchful Thinking, but it brought a really unique mix of natural and magical aesthetics that slowly grew on me over time.

✨ Springtime Floating Festival: Event Rewards

✨ The Springtime Floating Festival in Dreamlight Valley comes with six exclusive rewards to unlock after you complete puzzles scattered across the floating island. From Wonderland-inspired items to festive seasonal décor, each reward ties into your progress throughout the event and helps make the floating island feel even more magical. Check out all the rewards you can claim before the limited-time event ends on May 19!

I really liked how varied the rewards felt in this event, especially with the mix of furniture, decorative pieces, and wearable items - even though I won’t personally end up wearing the Gardener’s Apron (might throw it onto a mannequin for display somewhere), I can still appreciate the variety it adds to the reward pool.  What I also appreciate about the furniture rewards is that, once unlocked, you’re able to purchase additional from Scrooge’s Store for future builds and decorating projects. The Cheerful Garden Gnome was definitely my personal favourite though - it’s such a small cozy detail, but feels perfect for decorating little garden corners around the Valley 🌸

Be sure to complete all puzzles soon, as the floating island will no longer be accessible once the event ends. It’s also worth noting that Puzzle 3 takes a minimum of four days to complete, so if you haven’t started that one yet, it’s worth beginning today to make sure you can still claim the reward before the event ends.

This event was a really fun addition to the game, and while its not the first floating island event, I still enjoyed how different it felt compared to the usual seasonal events in the Valley. Between the floating island, puzzle mechanics, and themed rewards, it ended up feeling much more interactive and memorable. I’m definitely looking forward to a small cozy break before the next in-game event begins.
