✨ Next Update: Honeyglow Woods Arrives Next Week!

There's just over one week to go before the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack arrives in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

Like many of you, I'm incredibly excited for this update - especially because it's the first expansion of its kind. Honeyglow Woods marks the game's very first Adventure Pack, and from everything we've seen so far, it looks like such a wonderfully cozy addition to the Valley.

As with every new expansion, one of my favourite moments is stepping into a brand-new world for the very first time. While this update is no different in that sense, I can't help but wonder just how big Honeyglow Woods will be. How will it compare to previous DLCs we've explored over the years? Will it feel just as expansive, just on a slightly smaller scale?

Four Beautiful Areas to Explore

One detail I found particularly interesting is that Gameloft consistently refers to these locations as areas, rather than biomes. That immediately made me wonder whether the overall Adventure Pack may be a little smaller than I first expected.

Looking back at previous DLCs like Eternity Isle, Storybook Vale and Wishblossom Ranch, each map is made up of several large biomes, with every biome divided into multiple regions. For example, the Mythopia biome in Storybook Vale contains The Elysian Fields, The Fiery Plains, The Statue's Shadow and Mount Olympus.

If I had to guess before launch, I imagine Honeyglow Woods may follow a similar approach - one larger world made up of the four confirmed areas we've already seen:

• Drowsy Bloom Acres
• Gloommeadow
• Brave Heart Grove
• Nectar Apiary

The difference, at least from what we've seen so far, is that each area appears to have its own unique atmosphere and personality, making every corner of Honeyglow Woods feel distinct from the next.

Winnie the Pooh and Friends

Honeyglow Woods introduces three beloved Disney characters: Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore.

I'll admit they weren't right at the top of my personal character wishlist, but honestly, every new content update - whether it's free or paid - is something I genuinely look forward to. New characters always mean new stories to experience, friendship quests to complete, rewards to unlock and another cozy corner of the Valley to decorate, which is one of my favourite parts of Dreamlight Valley.

Each character also arrives with their own beautifully themed home, friendship questline and exclusive rewards, giving us even more reasons to spend time exploring Honeyglow Woods once it releases.

New Furniture to Decorate With

Oh, bother... you all know by now that furniture is my biggest weakness in Dreamlight Valley. I absolutely love discovering new furniture and dΓ©cor pieces, and Honeyglow Woods looks packed with them...

Throughout the Summer Showcase, announcement trailer and gameplay footage, I couldn't stop pausing to look at all the little details scattered throughout the environment. The furniture already revealed looks absolutely beautiful, and my mind instantly jumps to how I can incorporate many of these pieces into my existing builds throughout the Valley.

I've included a collection of most furniture items I spotted in the image above. Did you notice them all? I'm also hoping Gameloft is still keeping a few surprises hidden for launch.

Early Adopter Bonus

Honeyglow Woods also includes a lovely Early Adopter Bonus if you plan to jump in straight away.

If you purchase and play Honeyglow Woods before July 22, you'll receive the exclusive Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style, giving Pooh an adorable new look as you explore your honey-filled adventure.

One small detail that's worth mentioning is that simply purchasing the Adventure Pack doesn't appear to be enough. Based on the information shared so far, you'll also need to launch and play Honeyglow Woods before the deadline to unlock the bonus Dream Style.

Looking Closer

While the Summer Showcase introduced Honeyglow Woods, it also revealed plenty of smaller details hidden throughout the gameplay that weren't specifically highlighted during the presentation.

One of my favourite discoveries is a brand-new market stall, which appears to stock several previously unseen seed varieties. I wouldn't be surprised if Winnie the Pooh ends up running it himself... or at least, I'm hoping he does!

Looking even closer, the gameplay also reveals new crops, unique trees, natural pathways and plenty of decorative pieces scattered throughout Honeyglow Woods, giving decorators even more inspiration to work with.

We also catch a glimpse of the cooking interface and inventory, teasing several new ingredients, including Tree Resin and Sweet Jelly. We also see Sweet Chestnut and Golden Honey combined to create the new Honeycrunch Bar.

Considering the Adventure Pack launches on July 8 for USD $16.99 (approximately AUD $25) and includes 2,000 Moonstones, I honestly think it offers fantastic value based on everything we've seen so far. Even with all these reveals, I have a feeling Honeyglow Woods is still keeping plenty of secrets waiting to be discovered.

✨ I'll be covering more of Honeyglow Woods over the coming week leading up to launch. And once the Adventure Pack arrives, I'll also be sharing plenty of guides, tips and discoveries as I explore this cozy new adventure.

Thanks for joining me in today's Cozy Valley Journal entry. If you'd like to follow along with everything arriving in Honeyglow Woods, you'll find links to all of my socials in the sidebar. I'd love to have you along for the adventure! 🍯

✨ Villager Overview: Hercules

✨ This Villager Overview celebrates one of Disney's most iconic heroes, focusing on Hercules. Brave, humble, and always willing to lend a hand, Hercules brings a genuinely uplifting energy to the Valley that feels refreshing from the moment he arrives. Even with all his legendary strength, it's his kindness and determination that really define his character.

From unlocking him through the Hercules realm storyline to progressing through his friendship quests, Hercules' journey continues the themes of courage, friendship, and earning your place through actions rather than recognition. It all feels true to the film, and I couldn't have been happier to finally welcome him to the Valley.

πŸ”“ How To Unlock Hercules
(Click on any image to enlarge)

To unlock Hercules, you'll need to open the Hercules Realm in the Dream Castle and complete the "A Real Godly Mess" realm quest - the final of four realm quests you'll need to complete. During this quest, you'll construct Hercules' Villa, and once it's built, Hercules is officially unlocked and added to your collection.

His arrival feels like a natural conclusion to the Realm storyline, and I really appreciated how much time the game spends letting you get to know his character before he officially joins your collection.

Hercules' home is easily one of my favourites added to the game. It captures the grandeur of Mount Olympus beautifully while still feeling surprisingly versatile when decorating. I've currently placed it in the Valley, but I already know it'll eventually find its permanent home in Mythopia within Storybook Vale. It feels like the perfect setting for one large, majestic build inspired by Ancient Greece. Not to mention, all the furniture introduced with this update - between Scrooge's Store, friendship rewards, and the Star Path - has more than tempted me to make this one truly epic.

πŸ“œ Hercules' Friendship Quests

Hercules' friendship quests focus on helping others, overcoming challenges, and proving that true strength isn't just about physical power. They balance lighthearted moments with meaningful interactions, making his questline feel both rewarding and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Here are Hercules' friendship quests in order:

Level 2: The Grecian Urn
Level 4: Aquatic Musings
Level 7: Medicinal Mortality
Level 10: Battle of the Coaches

As with every villager, you can increase Hercules' friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you work around the Valley. Hercules quickly became one of my favourite villagers to have following me around.

🎁 Hercules' Friendship Rewards

Hercules' friendship rewards stay wonderfully consistent with the mythology-inspired style introduced throughout the update. I was genuinely thrilled with what we received, and I keep feeling like each update somehow outdoes the last. Every friendship reward also feels thoughtfully designed, fitting perfectly within the Hercules furniture collection while giving you even more options to create grand temples, courtyards, and Ancient Greek-inspired builds.

Level 2: Herculean Wall Plates (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Hercules Trophy Pedestal (Furniture item)
Level 6: Touch of Magic Material (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Hercules Statue (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 10: Champion Flame (Furniture item | Quest locked)

Including the above listed level 10 reward, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Hercules' friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level 2: Phil's Grecian Urn (Furniture item)
⭐ Level 4: Marble Muse Statue (Furniture item)
⭐ Level 7: Olympian Cloud Crib (Furniture item)
⭐ Level 10: Azure Greek Helmet, Azure Greek Chestplate, Azure Riveted Battle Skirt, and Azure Greek Cloak (Clothing items)

You'll find these quest-locked rewards in the images below.

Hercules has easily become one of my favourite villagers in Dreamlight Valley, and that's probably no surprise considering how much I love the original movie. He's absolutely in my top five, and I think Gameloft did an incredible job capturing both his personality and his overall presence.

His animations are fantastic, especially the one where he catches the enormous boulder (which I'm sure you've already seen) before casually tossing it aside like it weighs nothing. Despite being one of Disney's strongest heroes, he never comes across as arrogant. Instead, he feels approachable, humble, and exactly how you'd hope Hercules would be.

I also absolutely love his house. Not only is it visually stunning on its own, but it pairs beautifully with the Hercules furniture introduced in the update - I know, I know... there I go again talking about the furniture, but I really was impressed with everything we got! Even though his house is currently sitting in my Valley, I already have plans to move it into Mythopia, where I think it'll become the centrepiece of one much larger Ancient Greek-inspired build.

Thanks for reading through today's Villager Overview! Hercules has now been added to the Villager Overview hub, and with Phil already in the collection, it's been so much fun revisiting one of my favourite Disney franchises, with only Hades now remaining. I can't wait to keep expanding the hub with even more characters throughout the year.

✨ Premium Shop: Playtime Valley Bundle

✨ The Playtime Valley Bundle is one of those Premium Shop bundles that instantly made me smile, especially since Goofy's Stall skins are one of my biggest decorating weaknesses!

I love when Dream Style skins completely change the feel of everyday items, and this bundle does exactly that with a playful makeover for Goofy's Stall and the Wishing Well. The Toy Story-inspired details are full of colour and nostalgia, making them perfect for creating a fun market area, adding an extra touch of Pixar magic to your Valley, or even incorporating them into a playful theme park build.

I've always enjoyed decorating with Dream Styles because they let you refresh parts of the Valley you interact with every single day. Instead of simply placing another furniture item, these skins completely transform existing buildings into something that feels fresh and new. The alien-themed wishing well is such a fun nod to Toy Story, while the Playtime Stall gives Goofy's Stall a cheerful, toy-inspired look that is sure to fit surprisingly well in colourful builds.

I also love how easy these are to work into an existing layout. You don't need to redesign an entire biome to appreciate them - they're the sort of additions that can instantly brighten a space and make familiar areas feel different again. I can already picture these fitting perfectly into a dedicated Toy Story area or even bringing a little extra personality to peaceful spots like Dazzle Beach or the Peaceful Meadow.

For me, this bundle is a great reminder that some of the best Premium Shop purchases aren't always the biggest furniture sets. Sometimes it's the smaller visual changes that make the Valley feel fresh again, and this bundle does exactly that while adding plenty of Disney and Pixar charm.

✨ Dreamlight Parks Fest Event

The Dreamlight Parks Fest event made its return to Disney Dreamlight Valley this year, running from June 10 through June 30, bringing back themed popcorn buckets, event cupcakes, limited-time duties, and several brand-new rewards for this year's event.

What I've always enjoyed about this event is that it encourages you to explore almost every part of the Valley. Whether you're fishing, collecting buttons, completing quests, or crafting decorations, there's always something to work towards. If you're hoping to unlock everything before the event ends, it's worth getting started early as several rewards require completing daily event activities over multiple days.

In this guide, I've put together a full overview of where to find every event button, all popcorn bucket crafting recipes, event cupcake recipes, limited-time duties, and this year's new event furniture rewards.

Where to Find Event Buttons

Every popcorn bucket recipe requires event buttons, with each colour obtained in a different way throughout the event.

πŸ”΄ Red Buttons can be found throughout Dreamlight Valley near villager houses.

πŸ”΅ Blue Buttons are caught by fishing in the purple fishing ripples found in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.

🟒 Green Buttons are rewarded when completing the Dreamlight Parks Fest daily and weekly event quests.

🟣 Purple Buttons are crafted using 1 Blue Button, 2 Red Buttons, and 100 Dreamlight.

🟑🌼 Flower Buttons can be found throughout the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.

Once you've collected enough buttons, you'll be able to begin crafting the event's themed popcorn buckets.

Popcorn Bucket Crafting

One of the highlights of Dreamlight Parks Fest is collecting and crafting the themed popcorn buckets. The event includes eight different popcorn bucket furniture items, each with its own crafting recipe.

One detail I really like is that crafting each popcorn bucket doesn't just unlock the furniture version - it also unlocks the matching handheld accessory, letting your avatar carry the same popcorn bucket while exploring the Valley.

Three of the eight popcorn buckets are unlocked by progressing through the event quests:

🍿 Dug Pupcorn Bucket - Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Take Your Pic from Mirabel.

🍿 Mine Cart Popcorn Bucket - Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Shinies! from Scrooge.

🍿 Slinky Dog Popcorn Bucket - Complete Dreamlight Parks Fest: Checkerboard Chums from Woody.

The remaining popcorn buckets can be crafted once you've gathered the required event buttons and materials. Check out the recipe image above for everything you'll need.

Event Cupcake Recipes

Dreamlight Parks Fest also introduces five themed cupcake recipes:

🧁 Mermaid Cupcake
🧁 Minnie Cupcake
🧁 Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcake
🧁 Spaceship Earth Cupcake
🧁 Stitch Cupcake

These recipes are unlocked early in the event after completing Scrooge McDuck's Dreamlight Parks Fest quest.

Although the cupcakes are fun seasonal recipes to add to your collection, they're also an important part of the event, as many of the daily quests ask you to cook and gift them to villagers in exchange for Green Buttons.

Event Duties

Alongside crafting and cooking, Dreamlight Parks Fest features several limited-time event duties with exclusive furniture rewards.

Button-Maker - Craft 20 Purple Buttons.
Reward πŸ—Ί️ Retro Magic Kingdom Map

Popcorn Enthusiast - Craft and place any five popcorn buckets outdoors.
Reward πŸ—Ί️ Vintage Magic Kingdom Map

Sweet Samaritan - Cook 50 event cupcakes and gift them to villagers.
Reward πŸ—Ί️ Magic Kingdom Map

These duties encourage you to experience each part of the event rather than focusing on only one activity, making the rewards feel well earned by the time you've finished everything.

New Event Quest Rewards

This year's returning event also includes two new event questlines, each rewarding exclusive furniture.

Dreamlight Parks Fest: Toy Camera (Buzz)
Complete this event quest to receive:
🧱 Toy Block Pillar (x2)
🧱 Toy Block Stack

Dreamlight Parks Fest: Playground Games (Woody)
Complete this event quest to receive:
🧱 Toy Block Archway
🧱 Tall Toy Block Stack

I really like that Gameloft added brand-new rewards to a returning event, giving me something fresh to work towards

With collectible buttons, themed popcorn buckets, event-exclusive cupcakes, furniture rewards, and new quests, Dreamlight Parks Fest remains one of the biggest recurring seasonal events in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There's plenty to work towards over the three weeks, and it's one I always enjoy revisiting each year.

If you're planning to unlock everything, don't leave it until the final few days. Completing the daily quests regularly will make collecting Green Buttons much easier, and you'll have plenty of time to craft every reward before the event ends on June 30.

▶️ I've also put together a few videos on this event:

✨ Villager Overview: Phil

✨ This Villager Overview shines the spotlight on Phil from Hercules. Gruff, sarcastic, and never one to hand out compliments easily, Phil arrives in the Valley with the attitude of someone who's seen it all before. Beneath all the tough talk, though, is a loyal mentor who genuinely wants to see others succeed, and that balance makes him an enjoyable character to have around.

From unlocking him through the Hercules storyline to working through his friendship quests, Phil's story is filled with training, encouragement, and the occasional reality check. His personality stays true to the original film, making every interaction feel like you're being coached by a legend... whether you asked for it or not.

πŸ”“ How To Unlock Phil
(Click on any image to enlarge)

Phil can be added to the Valley after unlocking the Hercules Realm and completing all realm quests. I love his home - its large and majestic, blending naturally into the Mythopia biomes in the Storybook Vale.

πŸ“œ Phil's Friendship Quests

Phil's friendship quests revolve around training, perseverance, and helping others reach their potential. There's plenty of humour throughout, but underneath it all is a character who genuinely wants to see those around him improve.

Here are Phil's friendship quests in order:

Level 2: Satyrical Theater
Level 4: An Unlikely Hero
Level 7: Sweet Sweet Retirement
Level 10: Coach's Commission

One thing I really appreciated about Phil's questline was how naturally it suited his character. Every objective felt like something he'd realistically ask you to do, making the whole experience feel cohesive from beginning to end.

As with every villager, you can increase Phil's friendship level through daily conversations, favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking him to hang out while you work around the Valley. I ended up giving Phil the timebending role, as I am looking to increase bonus Mist drops as I continue playing the game.

🎁 Phil's Friendship Rewards

Phil's friendship rewards stay wonderfully true to the Hercules theme, expanding on an already fantastic collection of furniture and decorative pieces introduced with the update. If you've been enjoying the Ancient Greek-inspired aesthetic, there's plenty here that fits seamlessly alongside existing items. There were also additional themed rewards to unlock as you complete Phil's friendship quests.

Level 2: Hero Training Targets (Furniture item)
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Luxury Pegasus Fountain (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Rhodes Feet (Furniture item)
Level 9: Touch of Magic Material (Customisable)
Level 10: Sartorial Satyr Sandals (Clothing item | Quest locked)

Including the above listed level 10 reward, the following rewards are unlocked by completing Phil's friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each friendship level:

⭐ Level 2: Greek Stage, and Training Mannequin (Furniture items)
⭐ Level 4: Olympian Easy Chair, and Weight Training Set (Furniture items)
⭐ Level 7: NO COACHING Sign, and Philoctean Gate (Furniture items)
⭐ Level 10: Phil's Mosaic (Furniture item), Sartorial Satyr Horns, Sartorial Satyr Tan Armbands and Sartorial Satyr Outfit (Clothing items)

You'll find these quest-locked rewards in the images below.

Phil ended up being one of those characters I enjoyed more than I expected. He's constantly throwing around sarcastic remarks and acting like he's too old for all the chaos, but underneath that gruff exterior there's a mentor who genuinely cares about helping others succeed.

His animations also capture his personality brilliantly. Whether he's waving his arms around while making a point or marching confidently through the Valley, he feels like he walked straight out of Hercules. It's hard not to smile whenever you run into him.

One of my favourite parts of his friendship rewards was how well they expanded the Hercules furniture collection. The update already introduced some beautiful Greek-inspired pieces, and Phil's rewards build on that really nicely. They add even more options for themed builds, and it honestly makes me even more excited to see what Hercules himself will bring.

That wraps up this Villager Overview - thanks so much for reading! Phil has now been added to the Villager Overview hub, and I'll be continuing the Hercules collection next with Hercules himself. I'm looking forward to seeing how his story and friendship rewards compare to the legendary trainer who helped shape him.

✨ The Grand Exhibition: Glade of Trust

✨ Today’s journal entry takes you into the mysterious Glade of Trust exhibit, the fourth room available in Olaf’s Grand Exhibition.

Filled with winding waterways, towering trees and hidden corners, the Glade of Trust has always had a unique atmosphere. This exhibit celebrates everything that makes the biome memorable, while rewarding you for completing another collection of displays.

What is Olaf’s Grand Exhibition?
(Click on any image to enlarge)

The Grand Exhibition is a special hub where you can showcase the items you've discovered throughout your Valley. Each biome has its own dedicated exhibit room, featuring collections inspired by the resources, wildlife and discoveries unique to that area.

As additional exhibits are introduced over time, the Grand Exhibition continues to grow into a rewarding way to revisit earlier biomes and celebrate your journey through Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Glade of Trust Exhibit Overview

The Glade of Trust exhibit is divided into three main sections: the Aquarium, Diorama and Habitat. Each display is completed across two stages, gradually transforming the room as you contribute the required items.

Whether you're gathering resources, catching fish or unlocking companions, every completed display brings you one step closer to finishing the exhibit.

🐟 Aquarium (Gems & Fish)

To complete the Aquarium:

Step 1: Collect all gems found in the Glade of Trust
(Shiny Emerald, Emerald, Onyx, Shiny Citrine, Citrine)

Step 2: Collect all fish available in the biome
(Cod, Herring, Tuna, Lobster, Squid)

All required gems and fish are highlighted in the image above.

🌿 Diorama (Flowers & Blueprints)

The Diorama follows a slightly different structure:

Step 1: Collect all flowers from the Glade of Trust
(Blue Marsh Milkweed, Orange & Red Marsh Milkweed, Orange Marsh Milkweed, Purple Marsh Milkweed, White Marsh Milkweed)

Step 2: Complete multiple blueprint builds using gathered materials
(See image above for the full list.)

Gathering the required materials takes a little more preparation, but seeing each part of the display come together makes it well worth the effort. All required flowers and resources are highlighted in the image below.

🐊 Habitat (Food & Companions)

To complete the Habitat:

Step 1: Collect all food items tied to the Glade of Trust
(Lemon, Mushroom, Okra, Spinach, Rice, Cocoa Bean, Coffee Bean)

Step 2: Unlock all crocodile companions from this biome
(Blue Crocodile, Classic Crocodile, Golden Crocodile, Pink Crocodile, Red Crocodile, White Crocodile)

All required food items and companions are highlighted in the image above. Before you can add companions to the exhibit, you'll need to sure they've been unlocked in your collection.

🎁 Rewards

Each completed display unlocks its own reward, with an additional bonus waiting once you've finished the entire exhibit.

Aquarium Reward: Glade of Trust Aquarium
Diorama Reward: Set of 4 Glade of Trust Dioramas
Habitat Reward: Glade of Trust Companion Home

Exhibit Room Completion Reward: Glade of Trust Umbrella

One of my favourite things about the Grand Exhibition has been how it encourages me to slow down and appreciate each biome again. The Glade of Trust has its own quiet charm, and completing this exhibit felt like another enjoyable reason to spend some extra time exploring everything it has to offer.

If you're catching up on the earlier rooms, you can also browse my Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, and Forest of Valor exhibition guides here for complete walkthroughs.

I'll continue adding new guides as future exhibit rooms become available. Thanks for following along, and I'll catch you in the next journal entry.

✨ First Look at Honeyglow Woods Arriving July 8

✨ A New Adventure Begins! Gear up and get ready for an all-new adventure in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods arrives on July 8, bringing Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore to the game in an entirely new Adventure Pack. From everything I've seen so far, this looks like a wonderfully cozy expansion, and I'm really looking forward to exploring something completely different. I can't wait to see how it all comes together once we finally step into Honeyglow Woods.

One of my favourite details is how you'll access the new area. Rather than travelling through the Dream Castle, Honeyglow Woods introduces a tree portal that can be placed anywhere in your Valley, creating a seamless way to begin your next adventure.

The Summer Showcase certainly didn't disappoint!

There's so much to cover over the coming weeks, but for now I simply wanted to share a first look at Honeyglow Woods and some of the details that immediately stood out to me.

The new bee feature instantly caught my attention, allowing you to produce honey by placing flowers around a bee house. Once fully pollinated, the bee house will also increase the growth speed of nearby flowers within the same sub-biome. I was also excited to spot an entirely new range of flowers. I use flowers regularly when decorating around my Valley, so having even more varieties to build with is something I've been hoping for.

There's plenty to look forward to. The new characters will each arrive with their own homes, friendship quests, and rewards, while the Adventure Pack also introduces new meals to cook, furniture to craft, and plenty of quests to complete.

We're also getting themed building skins for both Chez Remy and Scrooge's Store, adding a unique way to decorate Honeyglow Woods with these beautiful new designs.

As someone who loves decorating, I'm especially excited about having an entirely new space to work with. Integrating existing furniture with everything arriving in Honeyglow Woods is going to keep me busy for quite a while!

Another surprise was the brand-new stall. Looking closely, it even appears to feature new seeds available for purchase. I can't wait to set this up in-game, and honestly... it wouldn't surprise me if Winnie the Pooh ends up running it himself!

The Adventure pack is better value than I expected.

One detail that genuinely surprised me was the price. Honeyglow Woods will be available for USD $16.99 (approximately AUD $25) and includes 2,000 Moonstones, with the base game required to play.

Considering everything shown during the Summer Showcase and Honeyglow Woods announcement trailer, I honestly expected it to cost more. Four new areas, three new characters, a brand-new critter, villager homes, quests, friendship rewards, furniture, meals, crafting recipes, Moonstones... it already looks like excellent value.

If you're planning to pick it up, there's also an Early Adopter Bonus. Purchasing Honeyglow Woods before July 22 (11:59 PM ET) rewards you with an exclusive Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style

Looking Ahead...

Of course, the excitement didn't stop with Honeyglow Woods. The Summer Showcase also teased the next free content update with the line:

"A long-awaited villager smashes his way into the Valley."

I think we all know who that is!

And later this year we'll once again be treated to the annual end-of-year Showcase, giving us another exciting look at what's still to come for Disney Dreamlight Valley and a deep dive into the next Expansion.

I'll be covering much more of Honeyglow Woods, along with everything announced during the Summer Showcase, over the next few weeks leading up to the July 8 release. And of course, once this exciting new Adventure Pack arrives, I'll also be sharing plenty of information and guides to help you make the most of your adventure.

Thanks for joining me in today's Cozy Valley Journal entry. I can't wait to explore Honeyglow Woods and share everything I discover once this brand-new adventure begins

✨ Dreamlight Valley Summer Showcase Drops Tomorrow!

The wait is almost over! Tomorrow, Gameloft will unveil the Disney Dreamlight Valley Summer Showcase, and I honestly can't wait to see what they have in store. From new character reveals and future content updates to plenty of surprises along the way, the excitement is definitely building as we get closer to the showcase.

I was able to find some additional information online ahead of the presentation from Nintendo Insider, sharing some details about what we can expect. Here are the details, quoted directly from Nintendo Insider:
_________________________

The development team will take you through “a roadmap update and unveils its first Adventure Pack, Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods.”

The developer has outlined a quick look at what’s going to be included:

- A deep dive into the “Disney Dreamlight Valley: Honeyglow Woods” Adventure Pack
- Discover three beloved new Villagers, a whole new nook of the Valley to decorate, and four new companions to befriend
- New info on upcoming special editions of the game
- An exclusive playthrough with the devs
- Community Update
_________________________

Okay... I'm trying to process all of these little extra teasers. A new Adventure Pack officially named Honeyglow Woods... a brand-new nook of the Valley to decorate... does this mean our Valley is about to get a makeover?! I honestly don't know what to think, and I'm so glad we don't have much longer to wait before finding out!

I can barely contain my excitement just from reading this extra information, and I was actually a little surprised that it didn't come directly from Gameloft. As always, nothing beats experiencing the announcements live (or, in my case... a few hours later! The showcase starts at 3:00 AM my time, and I'll definitely be giving this one a miss πŸ˜…). Either way, I'm really looking forward to seeing all the reveals and sharing my recaps, thoughts, and highlights once everything has been announced.

Be sure to check back over the next few days for all the latest Summer Showcase coverage. And if you'd like to keep up with all the latest Dreamlight Valley news and guides, you can also find links to all of my social channels in the sidebar.
