✨ The Grand Exhibition: Peaceful Meadow

✨ Olaf’s Grand Exhibition is one of the newest features introduced in Disney Dreamlight Valley - and it adds a completely new way to showcase your progress across the Valley.

With dedicated rooms for each biome, this system acts as both a collection hub and a long-term progression feature. In this guide, we’ll take a closer look at the Peaceful Meadow exhibit, including how to complete it and what rewards you can expect.

What is Olaf’s Grand Exhibition?
(Click on any image to enlarge)

The Grand Exhibition is a hub where you can display items you’ve collected throughout your Valley. Each biome has its own dedicated exhibit room, designed to highlight your progress across different categories.

At launch, two rooms are available: Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach. Each room follows a similar structure, making it easy to understand while still rewarding to complete.

Peaceful Meadow Exhibit Overview

The Peaceful Meadow exhibit is split into three main sections: the Aquarium, Diorama and Habitat. Each section contains two stages, gradually building out the full display.

🐟 Aquarium (Gems & Fish)

To complete the Aquarium:

Step 1: Collect all gems found in the Peaceful Meadow
(Garnet, Shiny Garnet, Onyx, Peridot, Shiny Peridot)

Step 2: Collect all fish available in the biome
(Bass, Bream, Catfish, Rainbow Trout)

All required gems and fish are also highlighted in the image above.

🌸 Diorama (Flowers & Blueprints)

The Diorama has a slightly different structure:

Step 1: Collect all flowers from the Peaceful Meadow
(Red Daisy, White Daisy, Yellow Daisy, Green Rising Penstemon, Purple Rising Penstemon)

Step 2: Complete multiple blueprint builds using gathered materials
(See image above for full list)

This is where resource gathering becomes more important, making it one of the more involved sections of the exhibit. All required flowers and materials are highlighted in the image above.

πŸ‡ Habitat (Food & Companions)

To complete the Habitat:

Step 1: Collect all food items tied to the Peaceful Meadow
(Apple, Raspberry, Basil, Lettuce, Carrot, Wheat)

Step 2: Unlock all rabbit companions from this biome
(Classic Rabbit, Black Rabbit, Brown Rabbit, White Rabbit, Calico Rabbit)

All required food and companions are highlighted in the image above. Before adding companions to the exhibit, make sure they’ve been unlocked in your collection.

🎁 Rewards

Each section of the exhibit rewards you as you progress - and these rewards are genuinely worth it. You’ll also earn an additional reward once all three displays are completed.

Aquarium Reward: Peaceful Meadow Aquarium
Diorama Reward: Set of 4 Peaceful Meadow Diorama's
Habitat Reward: Peaceful Meadow Companion Home

Exhibit Room Completion Reward: Peaceful Meadow Green Ensemble

From decorative items to themed pieces, the system feels rewarding without being overwhelming, while adding a strong sense of progression to the game.

Olaf’s Grand Exhibition feels like a great addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley. It gives me something new to work toward, while also encouraging me to revisit biomes in a more meaningful way.

I’ll be covering the other exhibit rooms as they become available, with Dazzle Beach coming soon - so keep an eye out for more guides.

✨ Cooking Recipes From Eternity Isle | Desserts: Part 1

✨ With the Eternity Isle entrΓ©e collection now complete, it finally feels like the right time to move into the sweeter side of Eternity Isle - starting with this first batch of 14 dessert recipes. Straight away, this set feels completely different in tone, with lighter colours, softer presentation, and a mix of recipes that lean more into fun, creativity, and visual charm.

What I enjoyed most while putting this group together is how varied desserts can feel compared to other meal types. You’ve got delicate treats like Caramel Macarons, Chocolate Macarons, and French Macarons, alongside comforting bakery-style favourites like Croissants, Danish, and Glazed Donuts. Then there are the simpler, more playful additions - Cotton Candy, Fruit Milkshake, and Dreamango Boba Tea - which feel perfect for more relaxed builds or themed cafΓ© setups.

This set also feels a lot more flexible when it comes to decorating and display. Desserts naturally bring a bit more colour and softness into a space, which makes them perfect for market stalls, outdoor tables, or cozy kitchen corners. Even something simple like Apple Sauce or Basil Berry Salad can add a nice balance when placed alongside the richer, more detailed desserts.

How to Cook These Recipes
(Click on any image to enlarge)

🍰 These dessert recipes use a mix of ingredients from both Eternity Isle and the main Valley, combining familiar staples like milk, wheat, and fruit with a few Isle-specific ingredients. Some recipes are quick and easy to prepare, while others may take a bit more effort. It’s a nice mix that keeps things interesting while building out your collection.

In addition to the images above, you can find a full breakdown of each recipe featured in this entry below, including ingredients, star ratings, energy values, and Star Coin sell prices. The Energy and Star Coin values may be higher if you’ve used a different generic item required in the recipe (like “Any Fruit”) or added an extra ingredient that's not needed, both of which can increase either value. This is just the first part of the dessert collection, and I’ll be continuing to add more recipes soon as I work through the rest of Eternity Isle.

If you’d like to explore more, you can also check out all of my existing Eternity Isle recipe posts here to build out your full cooking collection.

Thanks for joining me in today’s cooking journal entry 🌿 Dessert posts are already shaping up to be some of my favourites, and I’m excited to keep expanding this collection. Be sure to check back soon for more recipes and cozy kitchen inspiration.

✨ Villager Overview: Maui

✨ This Villager Overview steps into something a little more bold, focusing on Maui from Moana. Confident, charismatic, and never one to shy away from the spotlight, Maui brings a larger-than-life presence to the Valley that’s hard to ignore. From unlocking him in the Dream Castle to working through his friendship quests, Maui’s journey leans into strength, reputation, and proving himself - with plenty of personality (and ego) along the way.

πŸ”“ How To Unlock Maui
(Click on any image to enlarge)

To unlock Maui, you’ll need to open the Moana Realm in the Dream Castle and complete the “A Feast Worthy Of A Demigod” realm quest.

During this quest, you’ll construct Maui’s Peaceful Grotto, where he resides in the Valley, and once it’s built, Maui is officially unlocked and added to your collection. As part of this process, you’ll need to have the Dazzle Beach biome unlocked, as his home can only be placed in water. Unlocking Dazzle Beach gives you plenty of space to position his home along the coastline.

Maui’s home is… hard to miss. It’s large, bold, and definitely makes a statement - which fits his character perfectly - and I personally love how unique it looks.

πŸ“œ Maui's Friendship Quests

Maui’s quests reflect his confident, sometimes over-the-top personality. They often revolve around proving his strength, helping others (even if he doesn’t always admit it outright), and gradually showing a more genuine side beneath the bravado.

Here are Maui’s friendship quests in order:

Level 2: Burying the Eel
Level 4: A Tale of Stone and Fire
Level 7: Demigod of the Wind and Sun
Level 10: The Heart of Dreamlight Valley

There’s a noticeable shift as you progress through his quests. What starts off feeling a bit self-focused slowly turns into something more cooperative, which makes his overall storyline more rewarding than you might expect at first.

As with other villagers, you can increase friendship levels by having daily conversations, giving favourite gifts, completing quests, or asking Maui to hang out while you complete tasks around the Valley.

🎁 Maui’s Friendship Rewards

Maui’s rewards lean into a more bold, tropical aesthetic, with items that reflect both his island roots and his larger-than-life personality. There’s a mix of decorative pieces and character-inspired rewards, with one particular reward that stands out a bit more compared to the rest.

Level 2: Tan Beach Shorts (Clothing item)
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Island Drawings (Furniture item)
Level 6: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Tropical Fruit Bowl (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 10: Maui's #1 Fan (Furniture item)

The following rewards are unlocked by completing Maui’s friendship quests, rather than simply reaching each level:

⭐ Level 2: Coconut Tree (3 trees will appear on Dazzle Beach)
⭐ Level 4: Pickaxe Upgrade (tool upgrade that helps clear obstacles around the Valley)

You’ll find these highlighted in the image below.

✨ Maui has been one of the more entertaining villagers to have around, simply because of how much personality he brings into the Valley. He’s loud, confident, and very aware of who he is - which can be a lot at times, but it also makes him stand out in a way that most villagers don’t.

That said, there’s more depth to him than you might expect. As you work through his quests, you start to see a slightly more grounded side, which balances out his bigger personality nicely.

His overall design and animations are also spot on. From his size to the way he moves around the Valley, everything about him feels intentionally exaggerated - in the best way. Pairing him with Moana also works really well. Their dynamic brings a nice contrast, especially when placed near the ocean or within more open, coastal areas.

If you’re looking to unlock Moana, you can check out her Villager Overview here.

That wraps up this Villager Overview - thanks so much for reading! Maui has now been added to the Villager Overview hub, and I’ll continue building out the collection with more characters soon.

✨ Eggstravaganza Event Guide: All Rewards and Recipes

✨ The Eggstravaganza Event is currently live in Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing a mix of festive crafting, seasonal recipes, and limited-time rewards to unlock across the Valley. This annual spring event is one of the most content-packed seasonal updates, combining multiple activities into one cozy celebration.

Throughout the event, different types of eggs can be collected across the Valley through a variety of methods, including foraging, farming, and completing daily tasks. These eggs are then used across crafting and cooking, tying together each part of the event in a way that encourages exploration and resource gathering.

Crafting, Cooking & Event Rewards

The Eggstravaganza event includes a wide range of unlockables across three main areas: crafting recipes, including themed furniture like Egg Lampposts and seasonal decorations; cooking recipes, featuring event-specific dishes tied to collected ingredients; and event duties, which reward exclusive items as you progress through tasks.

Each of these systems connects back to collecting eggs, making it important to take part in a mix of activities if you’re aiming to unlock everything available during the event.

This entry includes a full visual breakdown of all crafting recipes, cooking recipes, and event rewards, so you can quickly see everything included and plan what to unlock first.

(Click on any image to enlarge)

Eggstravaganza Rewards Overview

Across the event, rewards are tied to three main activities. Crafting unlocks a wide range of themed furniture, including both returning favourites and new additions for this year’s event. Cooking rewards you for creating seasonal dishes using the different egg types. Event duties offer exclusive items and companions as you complete specific tasks throughout the event

To fully experience everything the Eggstravaganza event has to offer, it’s worth exploring all three areas, as each one contributes to unlocking different rewards.

Egg Locations in Dreamlight Valley

You’ll need a mix of different eggs to craft and cook all rewards from this event. Here's a quick run-down of where you can find each egg type during the event:

Egg-cellent Fruit (Pink) - harvested from the three egg bushes that appear in the Plaza
Wild Spring Egg (Blue) - found on the ground across all biomes in Dreamlight Valley
Spring V-EGG-etable (Yellow) - grown from V-EGG-etable Seeds, which are crafted using other eggs
Purple Spring Egg - found within the Moana, Toy Story, and WALL-E realms
Fishy Green Egg - caught while fishing in purple ripples on Dazzle Beach

Be sure to check the visual guides above for the exact recipe requirements and how many of each egg you’ll need.

Crafting Rewards

Crafting is easily one of the highlights of the Eggstravaganza event, with a wide range of items that can be styled together or used individually across your Valley. This year introduces 7 new crafting items, including 5 different coloured Egg Lampposts, a new egg-themed cooking station and a new decorative banner.

All existing crafting recipes from previous years are still available, making it a great opportunity to complete your collection... or craft duplicates of the event items. Two standout favourites are the Spring Stall and the Potted Spring Egg Tree, both of which work beautifully in small market builds and add a vibrant pop of colour to any area.

Cooking Recipes

There are 3 cooking recipes available during the Eggstravaganza event, which have remained the same since the event was first introduced. Each recipe requires a different type of egg (along with other Valley ingredients), encouraging you to gather a variety of resources.

As a small bonus, eating one of each meal will reward you with a special item.

There are currently no new recipes for this year, and the newer egg types (like purple and green eggs) are not required for cooking - but I'm hoping this is something we’ll get to see expanded in future events.

Event Duties

Event duties offer some of the most unique rewards during Eggstravaganza, especially if you’re looking to expand your companion collection. By harvesting Spring V-EGG-etables, you can unlock three companions:

30 harvested → Blue Spring Rabbit
60 harvested → Pink Spring Rabbit
100 harvested → Yellow Spring Rabbit

Additional duties include decorating your Valley with 4 Eggstravaganza-themed crafted furniture items; and collecting 50 flowers while hanging out with WALL-E. Both of these tasks reward exclusive event items, making them well worth completing before the event ends.

Event Duration

The Eggstravaganza Event is available for a limited time and will end on April 21, so be sure to collect as many eggs as you need, complete your duties and unlock any rewards before the event wraps up.

✨ Redemption Code: RΓΊna Handheld Purse

✨ Don’t forget to redeem the “RUNAWORLDOFFROZEN” code to unlock the RΓΊna Handheld Purse. It’s such a fun little accessory, and it feels perfectly at home in the snowy corners of the Valley. Small additions like this always bring a bit of extra charm to everyday moments, especially when exploring the Frosted Heights.

While this isn’t something I see myself using often, the RΓΊna Handheld Purse still leans into that soft, wintery aesthetic, making it a really nice fit if you enjoy styling outfits, adding subtle details to your character, or even using it for DreamSnaps. It’s not a huge item, but it’s one of those pieces that quietly adds personality, especially when paired with the colder biomes and snowy scenery.

Moments like this are exactly why I love slowing down and taking everything in around the Valley. Even the smallest additions can make it all feel a little more magical. I made sure to redeem this one through the in-game settings before I forgot ❄️
