✨ Premium Shop: Crafty Crochet Stand

✨ The Crafty Crochet Stand is such a unique take on a stall, and I knew I wanted to add it to my collection the moment it popped up in this week’s Premium Shop rotation. I love the little details and cozy handmade feel it brings to the Valley, even if I’m still figuring out exactly where I’ll use it in my builds. I could see it working beautifully as a little craft market, tucked into a cottage garden, or perhaps as part of a cozy village shopping area - either way, I’m sure I’ll find the perfect spot for it eventually!

This stall feels a little different from the usual decorating pieces, and it definitely caught my attention. The crochet theme gives it such a warm, handmade quality, making it feel like the sort of little stall you might stumble across while wandering through a quiet village market. It also feels like one of those items that could work in several different biomes depending on the surrounding decor... though I need to test that theory!

I haven't quite decided what I'll do with it yet, but that's part of the fun. Sometimes I pick up a furniture item because I already have the perfect build in mind, and at other times I just know it's an item I want and will figure out where it belongs later. The Crafty Crochet Stand is definitely the latter for me, and I have a feeling it will eventually inspire a build of its own.

For 1,500 Moonstones, this feels like a lovely little addition to my collection, especially if you enjoy creating market areas or adding those smaller details that make a space feel more lived-in. I'm looking forward to seeing where this one eventually finds a home in my Valley

I love that this reward was tied into the presentation; it’s a fun way to keep a little piece of the D23 spirit with you in-game. I really love the lanyard and pins on this one, which make it feel so cozy to wear, and even the Moon and Star print glows at night! The D23 Varsity Jacket 2026 is a fun addition to the wardrobe, and I think it’ll work nicely for a more casual Valley look. I particularly like clothing rewards that have a little story or memory attached to them, and having this one tied to the D23 presentation makes it feel like a small keepsake from an exciting week of Dreamlight Valley news. It’s also a nice way to finish off a week that has already brought us another redeem code. Two in one week is definitely something I’m not complaining about! 

✨ Summer Sizzle Event

✨ The Summer Sizzle Event has returned to Dreamlight Valley this year, running from August 5 to August 18! For me, this is one of those lovely, slower-paced events. Considering just how much there has been to do in the game lately, I have absolutely no complaints - I always enjoy having a breather and soaking in a few slow weeks.

As with all events, Summer Sizzle comes with event-exclusive rewards, with a total of 12 to collect. Of these rewards, there are 5 brand-new ones to unlock in this returning 2026 event!

This event will have you collecting marshmallows from marshmallow bushes that appear in your Valley. You'll be able to find a total of 6 bushes across the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow - three bushes are dedicated to collecting Blue Marshmallows, and the other three are for Pink Marshmallows. Collecting these is crucial, as they allow you to cook event-related meals, craft cozy furniture items, and complete event duties to unlock your rewards!

The Summer Sizzle Event brings two types of delicious campfire meals: Roasted Marshmallows and S'mores.

This event also comes with three event duties to track in your menu.

Gifting 25 Roasted Marshmallows to Villagers will complete the 'Share Some Sweetness' event duty and unlock the Birding Top (clothing item). Though information on the Dreamlight Valley Wiki page states you'll need to gift S'mores to complete this duty. As I completed this duty a few years back, I'm unable to confirm which of these is correct. If you're yet to complete this duty, definitely test it by gifting one of each meal to see which counts towards the event duty when tracking it in the event tab.

Eating 25 S'mores will complete the 'Savor Some Sweetness' event duty and unlock the Hiking Backpack (clothing item).

One of my absolute favourite parts of any event has to be crafting special items, and Summer Sizzle comes with 5 different items you can craft. Each one requires event meals as part of its crafting recipe:

The return of the Summer Sizzle Event in 2026 has brought some exciting new rewards with it! To unlock these items, you'll need to complete daily event quests given by Remy, Goofy, or Ursula. Doing so will progress you through the brand-new 'Deliver Some Sweetness' event duty to unlock the following:

Completing 1 Daily Quest: Unlocks the Decorative Picnic Basket (Furniture item)

Completing 2 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock crafting recipe

Completing 4 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock Corner crafting recipe

Completing 6 Daily Quests: Unlocks the Lake Dock Boat Port crafting recipe

Completing a daily event quest will also reward you with a 'Summer Picnic Basket' item, which pops straight into your inventory. You have the option to either gift this to one of your villagers, or sell it through Goofy's stall. Personally, I held onto mine and placed them in one of my event storage chests! While it looks identical, this item does vary from the 'Decorative Picnic Basket' (furniture item), which can be ordered in more quantities from Scrooge's Store.

Once unlocked, you can use the crafting recipes below for each of the new Lake Dock pieces:

As you can see from all the cooking and crafting recipes, collecting both Blue and Pink Marshmallows during the Summer Sizzle Event is absolutely crucial. Be sure to gather as many as you can before the event wraps up on August 18!

Cozy Tip: Don't forget to bring a Foraging buddy along with you while you complete your rounds. Hanging out with them means you'll get plenty of bonus drops when harvesting those marshmallow bushes!

✨ Redemption Code: DMK 10th Anniversary Hat Stand

Be sure to redeem the “DREAMJOURNEY” code to get the DMK 10th Anniversary Hat Stand 🎩 It’s such a cute outdoor furniture item, and I love the little nod to Disney Magic Kingdoms, bringing a small piece of another Gameloft Disney game into the Valley.

I can see this working really well in shopping builds, theme park areas, or even as part of a Main Street-style setup. The hat stand has a fun little storefront feel to it, so I think there are plenty of ways to work it into an existing build without needing to create an entire area around it.

The only negative for me is that you can’t seem to walk into or under the stand. It would have been a really nice touch if it worked more like an interactive stall or small structure that you could actually walk into, especially given the way it looks. Hopefully that’s something that could change in a future update, because I think it would make the item even more useful when decorating.

Still, I really like the idea behind this reward. It’s a simple furniture piece, but the connection to Disney Magic Kingdoms makes it feel like a fun little piece of Gameloft history to add to the Valley. This item will be sent to your in-game mailbox to claim once you’ve successfully entered the redeem code in your settings.

✨ Premium Shop: Fantasia Broomstick

The Fantasia Broomstick shot straight to the top of my companion wishlist the moment I saw it during the Pixel Perfect Developer Update, so I was incredibly happy to see it arrive in the Premium Shop this week. It has so much personality, but my favourite part has to be the companion pose - watching my character casually lean on the broom is both hilarious and ridiculously cute. It's such a great pose, and I think it's one of my favourite companion interactions in the game so far. I'm always curious to see what pose comes with newly added companions, and this one made me smile.  

I've always enjoyed companions that bring a little extra life into the Valley, and this one does exactly that. The Fantasia Broomstick feels like it has its own personality, making it a companion I can genuinely see myself keeping equipped for a long time.

Another thing I really appreciate is that there is also another Fantasia-inspired item available as part of the purchase. The Sorcerer's Apprentice Chair, which is unlocked by reaching Level 5 Friendship with the Fantasia Broomstick, pairs beautifully with the broomstick and makes for a fun little nod to one of Disney's most iconic films.

For me, this has easily become one of my favourite Premium Shop additions in recent memory. I knew I wanted it from the moment it was revealed, and now that it's finally here, it absolutely lives up to the excitement. If you've been thinking about adding a little more magic (and a lot more personality) to your Valley, this companion is well worth considering before the Premium Shop refreshes.
