✨ Premium Shop: Sandy Landmarks Set

I’ve been enjoying decorating near the shoreline, and the Sandy Landmarks Set was an instant must-have for me the moment it popped up in the Premium Shop the first time, though it has popped up into the Premium Shop for a second time in this weeks rotation! This bundle includes three playful sand-themed furniture pieces: Sandy Dream Castle, Sandy Skull Rock, and Sandy Donald’s House - each one giving off that playful, carefree beach-day energy I love to capture in my Dazzle Beach area.
What I really enjoy about this set is how it doesn’t just look like random decor, it feels like little creations you could stumble upon while wandering along the actual beach, with Sandy Donald’s House easily being my favourite of the three items in this set.
Dropping these pieces into my space instantly brought that serene summer mood to life, and I’ve found myself just pausing to admire how they frame the sunset over the waves. Whether you’re going for a themed Dazzle Beach moment or just want something fun to scatter around coastal builds, this set feels like a little celebration of sand and sea.
This set is great if you've been looking for playful outdoor decor, and it might be the excuse you need to splurge - especially considering how effortlessly these pieces fit into beachy layouts and playful seaside displays.

✨ Next Update: Puppy Love Arrives February 11th!

The Puppy Love update is the first free content update of the year in Disney Dreamlight Valley, arriving on February 11, and it’s shaping up to be a cozy one - especially for fans of Lady and the Tramp.
This update introduces two new characters from the Disney classic, unlocked through a brand-new realm with fresh adventures to complete before welcoming them into the Valley. Once they arrive, you can look forward to new friendship quests, rewards, and a charming new villager home.
Alongside the new characters, the update brings the Paw-Fect Romance Star Path, featuring themed rewards inspired by love and cozy Valentine vibes. A few items teased in the trailer are already standing out as perfect additions for decorating and seasonal builds.
The Premium Shop is also getting a seasonal refresh with the Spring Cherry Blossom set, offering a soft new look for familiar structures like the Dream Castle, Goofy’s Stall, the Valley Visit Station and more. I can't wait to see what other new items the Premium Shop has to offer.
This update also includes three limited-time events:
Valley Valentines Event (February 11-25): a brand-new event coming to the Valley that focuses on completing daily quests by gathering items for the Valleys "most iconic sweethearts", all in exchange for exclusive rewards.
The Lucky You! Event (March 11-17): A returning event that allows you to earn both existing and new rewards.
Eggstravaganza Event (April 1): Another returning seasonal event, with a new egg colour and a variety of new rewards to collect.
One of the most exciting quality-of-life improvements arriving with this update is the ability to select and move multiple items at once in Furniture Mode, making decorating and reorganising builds faster and far less frustrating.
I’ll be covering the Puppy Love update in more detail once it goes live, including guides, rewards, tips, and event information.

✨ Villager Overview: Kristoff
Kristoff resides in Anna’s Castle, which is already placed in the game and can be found in the Forest of Valor. Anna’s Castle fits beautifully into the Forest of Valor, blending icy details with warm, Nordic-inspired touches. While it offers a nice contrasting colour to the Forest of Valor, I've personally found Anna's Castle to fit perfectly in the Frosted Heights - it anchors the biome nicely and feels like a natural part of the surrounding landscape.
๐ Complete Kristoff Friendship Quest List
Kristoff’s friendship quests lean into his backstory, survival skills, and strong ties to nature and the Valley. His first friendship quest may unlock slightly differently depending on how far you’ve progressed through the main storyline and other villagers’ quests. The "Leaving The Woods Behind" friendship quest should start after unlocking Kristoff, provided you've progressed further enough with Maui and completed his level 2 friendship quest. Below is the complete list of Kristoff's friendship quests.
Level 3: Frozen Memories
Level 6: Village Project: A Mountain Man's Stall
Level 10: A Broken Sled
Level 3: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 4: 500 Star Coins
Level 5: Hat Hair (Clothing item)
Level 6: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins
Level 8: Norwegian Spruce Tub (Furniture item)
Level 9: Design Motif (Customisable)
Level 10: Kristoff's Sled (Furniture item; unlocks when completing the level 10 friendship quest)
Kristoff’s Stall offers a rotating selection of foraged items and refined materials that refresh daily. You’ll unlock the stall as part of Kristoff’s level 6 friendship quest, initially opening with three item slots available for purchase. After completing his level 10 friendship quest, the stall can be upgraded to include six item slots, giving you more variety each day.
Once unlocked, the stall can be placed anywhere in the Valley and, if you own any DLCs, can also be placed within those areas. When placed in DLC regions, the stall rotates stock that’s unique to that area, making it especially handy when gathering specific materials.
✨ Kristoff’s Stall is easily one of my most-used villager services in the game. It’s perfect for quick restocks of foraged and refined materials without having to run all over the Valley. I especially love having one placed near my crafting station or close to my player home - it makes prep and building sessions feel so much smoother.
Thanks for joining me for today’s Villager Overview! Kristoff has now been added to the Villager Overviews hub - be sure to check back as more characters continue to join the Valley ๐

✨ Winter Warmth Star Path: Event Ends

✨ The Winter Warmth Star Path is one of those seasonal events that instantly made the Valley feel cozier the moment it arrived. With its festive charm, soft winter tones, and comforting decor, it’s the perfect excuse to slow down, bundle up, and enjoy the quieter side of Dreamlight Valley while ticking off a few festive duties along the way.
As with all Star Paths, this event revolves around completing duties - everything from daily tasks to longer challenges that have you cooking, crafting, fishing, mining, and spending time with villagers. Though it leaned a bit too easy for my liking, I really enjoyed the variety of duties - some days felt relaxed and simple, while others encouraged me to linger in the Valley a little longer to wrap everything up. Each completed duty earns event tokens, which you can then exchange for exclusive limited-time event rewards.
And honestly? The rewards are where this Star Path truly shines. From cozy winter outfits and seasonal accessories to festive furniture pieces, motifs, and decorative items, everything feels designed to add warmth and comfort to your builds. Whether you’re decorating a snowy village square, a fireside cabin, or just adding small winter touches throughout your Valley, there’s so much here to work with.
If you've unlocked the Premium Star Path, there’s also the added bonus of earning back a portion of your Moonstones by progressing through the reward tiers - which always makes the grind feel a little more satisfying. I especially appreciate being able to prioritise which rewards I unlock first, depending on what I’m most excited to use right away.
If I had to pick a favourite reward from this Star Path, it would hands down be the Festive Food Truck. It instantly adds so much life and character to winter builds - whether it’s parked near a snowy Plaza, tucked into a holiday market, or acting as a cozy focal point in a festive corner of the Valley. It feels playful, charming, and perfectly seasonal without being over-the-top, which makes it incredibly easy to style.
Following closely behind are two of the bonus rewards: the Main Street Lamppost and the Main Street Emporium Dream Style house skin. The lamppost is such a simple piece, but it adds so much atmosphere - especially when lining pathways or framing entrances in winter builds. And the Emporium house skin? A standout. It fits beautifully into Main Street–style layouts and instantly elevates town builds with that classic, storybook charm. Just keep in mind that bonus rewards only unlock once all tiers are completed, after collecting all 36 regular rewards - but they’re absolutely worth the effort.
Looking ahead, I can already picture these items coming together in cozy winter builds - soft lighting, festive accents, and snow-covered spaces that feel warm even in the coldest biomes. Even if you don’t place everything immediately, this Star Path is one of those collections that feels timeless enough to return to each winter season.
So if you still have duties left to finish, now’s the perfect time to focus on wrapping them up before the Winter Warmth Star Path ends next week, and claim any rewards you might’ve missed. Winter doesn’t last forever in the Valley - so make the most of it while it’s here ❄️
